Weekend stay

We stayed at the is place for the weekend while my daughter had gymnastics camp. It was easy to find and close to many things in addition it was an easy walk to the beach.

Teachers need spring breaks too

Really nice place. Close to beach, beach bars and the main strip with many dining options. Didn't need a car except to the grocery store. Quiet and safe street. Bars shut down pretty early, no noise issues at all. Nice collection of beach stuff: wagon, chairs, umbrella. Upham beach is a 2 block walk with pretty much all families, low key with a few volleyball nets and really clean. Decent sheepshead fishing on the channel by the 'Secret Garden' by the beach. Great sunsets.

Waterside Oasis

Nice clean beach house- appreciated greatly the beach chairs, beach bags and fully stocked kitchen. The granola bars and tea were greatly appreciated when we first arrived as a late afternoon treat! Our only complaint would be the noise from floor above (sliding chairs, drawers being opened/closed, water running from shower, muffled voices. Sometimes the live bands at night would be very loud so appreciated the standing fan to drown out noise while sleeping. Stormie was very quick to address any issue we had and the maintenance people came within the next day to fix any issue we had in the house. We loved being just blocks from the beach.

Well-stocked, cute beach house

We stayed for two nights as the end of a trip to an amusement park in FL. We wanted somewhere close to the beach to take our two children under 6 to the ocean for the first time. Found this house and was very happy! It's just a few blocks from Upham Beach Park, which was a beautiful sandy public beach with ability to rent beach umbrellas and chairs if desired. The house was VERY well stocked. The listing notes beach supplies, but I think they understated that. There were four+ beach chairs, a wagon, multiple coolers, beach toys (including inflatables and boogie boards) and beach towels. The host also left yogurt, milk, cereal, coffee/tea, and oatmeal for us to enjoy. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware, as well as basic spices. Ultimately, we had everything we needed to enjoy a nice beach day. The beds were comfy and the air conditioning worked really well (thank goodness... it was July when we stayed!). There was even shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. I also appreciated that there wasn't a ton of cleaning required upon our departure. The host asked that we clean our dishes and take out the trash, but that was it. I've been to Vrbo's that required that you do that and start laundry and more. Because of the cleaning fee it was nice that they didn't expect us to clean before we left. Overall it was a great stay, and should we return to the area, we would definitely consider renting this house in particular or another by the same owner!

Great beach experience

The property’s most important characteristic is LOCATION!! Parking is tough in this exciting area, so having everything within walking distance is so convenient! And if it’s raining, now worries, you can call the free shuttle! Great food options and moments from one of the best St Pete beaches! The slew of beach necessities available at this site are a wonderful bonus! Beach chairs and coolers and sand toys and towels and volleyballs and a wagon and beach bags to carry it all in!! We planned on utilizing the grill but couldn’t find it until the last day. Would be nice to point out where some things are in the rules book. Also, fire pit area is fenced into an area with another unit. It says it’s for use when I booked, but someone had their towels hanging out in the chairs there and their shoes all lined up outside. Definitely would feel like an intrusion to use that space with someone in that unit.

Great host and location

The host was very responsive to our requests. The location is wonderful - close to the beach, restaurants and activities. The unit was stocked with all sorts of beach items such as a cart, beach chairs, beach bags, beach towels, sand toys, etc. It was an easy walk to a beautiful beach with all the necessary items for fun at the beach.

What a pleasant surprise! Perfect location for the beach and bus traveling. The place is amazing. Well decorated, great beds, and kitchen gadgets. Comfortable outside seating areas. Highly recommend.

Great stay in St Pete's

We had a great time here. We really enjoyed the location, great restaurants, the Free Ride shuttle, the coffee, the comfortable beds. The music next door was not an issue for us, and did not last past 9pm or so. The short walk to the beach was fine and we enjoyed all the beach supplies.

Great Spot, Clean, and Cozy

The free transportation service FreeBee will pick up and drop off at this location, making it easy to zip to nearby locations. The SunRider is just a few blocks away. And you are a 5 minute walk from public beach access. Location is absolutely perfect. There are 4 units in this building. One unit is on the second floor and you may hear your neighbors. Not a big deal, just something to note. The house itself is great. It is as advertised. Important to note that it doesn't have a dishwasher, so you'll have to wash those yourself. They really need to replace the toilet too which is very low, has a creaky seat and requires you to hold the handle a long time to flush. They also need to refresh the paint on the front doors of all the units, as it is patchy and a little off putting. The free laundry service is just a door away and very nice.

Great getaway

The property was even better than expected from the pictures. We had an issue with the digital lock when we arrived at the home and after a quick text to Stormie, she called back immediately and helped us to gain access to the unit. We were pleasantly surprised by all the extras left for us including all items needed for breakfast on our first day and a fully stocked coffee bar. There were plenty of beach chairs, coolers an umbrella and even a wagon available for our daily beach trip. Highly recommend this rental!

Very nice property close to everything.

Very nice property close to everything. As described in listing tons of great amenities to make you feel at home. Our only issue was getting the code upon arrival but Vrbo quickly got ahold of the owner and there was no soap or shampoo which was surprising since there was coffee snacks and beverages supplied. I’m sure the lack of toiletries was an oversight. We would definitely return and recommend this property.

Great family trip

This was a very nice stay. We loved being so close to the beach. The owner was very responsive. The only drawback was proximity to noise (live music coming from the Saint Hotel). That was we worth it. One of the best parts was being able to walk a block each night to watch the sunset over the water. Great stay.
