The beautiful and newly renovated apartments and studios at Sunset Shores Apartments are the perfect getaway in the optimum location just a few blocks away from the beach, fine dining, and all the action of Pompano Beach.
The space
The apartments and studios have a minimalistic design, unique distribution and comfort, and all the necessary amenities.
Extra Amenities:
* FREE PARKING SPACES outside of the property. Self Parking. You don't need a parking permit tag.
* LAUNDRY ROOM (COMMON AREA) from 4 pm to 9 am.
* FULL KITCHEN with stainless-steel fridge and freezer, regular coffee maker, flat range stove with oven, built-in microwave, stainless-steel sink, sufficient dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware in the kitchen for maximum occupancy.

Loved loved loved it!!

We had a great time! The room was great and super clean. The location to the beach and canal area was perfect. Very quiet area which we loved. Just a couple blocks away were great restraunts. We didn’t rent a car. Everything was in walking distance or we rented an electric bike which was great! We'll definitely be back!

Disappointed

The pictures of the listing were accurate. The proximity to the beach was great. The bed was very comfortable. That however is where the good stuff stopped. The room was very dark, the only lighting was the two small lamps next to the bed. No overhead lighting except in the closet. The light over the stove did not work, so trying to cook was difficult. The toaster did not work. (We just gave up and went out to eat) I tried to contact owner and got no response. When we received our check in information, We were instructed that we could not put toilet paper in the toilet but were to put it in a waste paper basket(withouta lid). Had we known this in advance we would not have rented this property. we spoke to other guest at the property who said that they were not given those directions concerning the toilet or plumbing. We will not go back.

What I didn´t like is that the property is too minimalist, meaning they could put more furniture, trash can in the room, better closet, and table where you can put things besides the bathroom ( there is no space on the bathroom) more hangers and towel racks.

Clean & Great Location! Septic Issues!

Great Location and nice room. Pool was clean and short walk to beach. Septic backed up into shower twice leaving us without toilet or water 2 separate days. They did refund one night. When you’re on vacation and not told of a RE-occurring problem. (We did not see the March 7 review until we got back home) If you book here stay in one of the 2nd floor rooms as the septic flows downward. Management Co tried to correct but honesty would have been better. The issue requires much more than snaking a drain. Had we known this was an issue we would not have booked.

Great vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay in Pompano Beach! This property was excellent and in a great location where it was a close walk to everything. Super fast communication with the property owners, they were so nice and helpful!!

Nice room and location, but missing basic living needs

The location was great just a block from the beach and the room was clean but there were definitely some negatives. We were not given necessary check in info prior to our check in. It was an hour after the check in time when I had to reach out to the property manager to request them. He responded promptly with the check in code and house rules. The house rules were the next red flag. One particular house rule shocked us... you are not allowed to flush toilet paper in the toilet. I asked about this further and he confirmed we were not able to do so as the building is old and has "sensitive pipes". He assured us the he provided appropriate garbage bins to discard used tissue. This bin was just your ordinary small bathroom garbage can that was completely opened. Not the most sanitary way to discard this type of waste. The thing that bothered me most is that this information was only disclosed after booking and actually an hour after we were able to check in. If I knew this place had a failing septic system I would not have booked it.

Could not get in touch with mgt. had problem with tv,could not get regular channels. Sent stretto help in app and never got a reply.
