Le Cherrytree Farm se trouve à 1,5 km du village de campagne médiéval de John Constable, le DEDHAM. 5 minutes de la gare de Manningtree (train direct de Londres à 55 minutes). 15 minutes en voiture ou en bus à Colchester.
Cette charmante maison de campagne indépendante avec plus de 1 acre de jardins matures. Située dans une propriété de 2 hectares, la ferme aux cerisiers est le lieu idéal pour partir à la découverte de Londres, de Norwich (1 heure) et du sud-est. Une véritable expérience «5 étoiles chez soi».

Les hébergements spacieux comprennent un grand couloir ouvert avec parquet en bois franc menant à toutes les pièces du rez-de-chaussée.

Trois salles de réception inc. Salon avec cheminée et poêle à bois (bûches illimitées fournies), deux canapés en cuir, deux fauteuils à oreilles, 50 "Smart TV DVD.
Grande salle à manger élégante. Bureau / salle de musique. La cuisine traditionnelle de la ferme comprend un double four électrique / cuisinière à gaz, un lave-vaisselle, un four micro-ondes, un réfrigérateur-congélateur, une télévision murale 32 "Smart TV, etc. Table à manger et chaises en granit, portes-fenêtres s'ouvrant sur une belle véranda en bois massif, idéale pour les dîners «al fresco» ou pour se détendre avec un mobilier d'extérieur et des coussins de qualité. En haut; Quatre chambres doubles spacieuses avec vue sur les jardins et le verger. (1 x ensuite). Grande salle de bains familiale de luxe carrelée en marbre avec baignoire d'angle, douche séparée et toilettes. Salle de jeux séparée avec table de ping-pong dans le jardin.

Vaste équipement de cuisine est inclus, mixeur, robot ménager, mijoteuse, mixeur, presse-agrumes. Casseroles, poêles, plats et tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour vous faire vivre un véritable "chez-soi", dans le pays de Constable.

Les chambres 1 et 4 ont des lits king size, les chambres 2 et 3 ont des lits doubles. Il y a aussi un lit de voyage et une chaise haute disponibles. Une chambre simple est également disponible moyennant un supplément pour les personnes supplémentaires de plus de 8 personnes.

Veuillez noter qu'il y a une porte adjacente depuis les chambres 3 et 4 (l'accès à la chambre 3 se fait par la chambre 4).

Cherrytrees Farm est notre maison familiale depuis plus de 20 ans et est très bien meublée et entretenue. Il fait toujours chaud et confortable - jamais humide ou mal aimé pendant les mois d’hiver.

Amazing home for a relaxing break

This was an amazing home for our long bank holiday weekend break. There were 4 couples in our group and this home provided a great base and a relaxing space for the weekend. The owners are great and made us feel very welcome - thank you so much! Highly recommended!

The property was first class

We had a lovely stay at Cherry Trees over Christmas. The house is well equipped and comfortable. It has a spacious kitchen with a large table, perfect to sit around and chat or play games, big enough for meals for a large family. The utility room is amazing. We loved being able to light the wood burner in the evening. The house provided a great base for our family.

A real home from home.

We had a fabulous Christmas spent with family at Cherry Trees. It felt so homely from the minute we stepped through the door. We were greeted by Amanda and Nigel who we felt we had come to know quite well from the emails and communication we had had prior to our arrival. We felt like we were coming to stay with friends. We arrived after 9 pm on a wet winter night, jet lagged from our long flight and drive. Amanda had even shopped for provisions of milk, bread, ham cheese and much more and even mince pies so we would have something to get us though and breakfast next day. The house was warm and clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas.It actually took us several days discovering all the little decorations and delightful special touches that were every where in the house. We entertained in the house as if were our own .Even cooking Christmas dinner. Every thing that we could have wanted or needed was all there in the well planned kitchen . Even all the little things you keep in your own pantry. we really only had to bring the turkey! The cherry orchards and grounds provided somewhere to explore on boxing day morning when fresh air and a walk was needed. Cherry trees is a beautiful home and a great place to stay even in winter. A cosy wood fire was wonderful treat. We were surprised how close it was to everything .we we were able to go into Colchester frequently and the main A12 was so close. We also travelled by train into London. easily. We would love to visit again next time we are in the UK and would love to sit on the veranda n the spring with the cherry trees in flower and share a bottle of wine with Amanda and Nigel.

Perfect Property & Fabulous Hosts

We could not have picked a lovelier home for self-isolating upon arrival to the U.K. The owners went above and beyond to welcome us and help us get settled. We were excited about the house and property just looking at the photos in the listing, but it is even better in person! The back patio provides several areas for sitting and watching the birds and the garden is very well maintained. Our teen boys love all the entertainment options — from board games to the ping pong table to the music room with classic LPs and the TV room with a large supply of movies. Nigel and Mandy are absolutely delightful, extremely communicative, and generous in their hospitality. This isn’t just a rental, it is their home and that provides many conveniences that made our stay even more pleasurable. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and the entire home is spacious and well laid-out. Without a doubt, we would stay here again!

Lovely week

We enjoyed our week stay at Cherrytree Farm. Fantastic property and garden in which our boys loved playing football, cricket and flying their kite. Owners Mandy and Nigel kept us up to date with all information needed and responded to any questions very quickly. The area is lovely and we enjoyed boating in Dedham, Colchester Zoo and a local water sports centre for various activities. The Wooden Fender pub just down the road does great food with great service, very friendly staff. Would definitely return.

Wow! Never been to such a well equipped house with such generous hosts. They really opened their home to us. The one, very small problem, was sorted quickly, efficiently in a manor that showed they really cared about our stay. A great location for seeing the wonderful Essex countryside. Who knew?

Great weekend getaway!

The house is beautiful and extremely picturesque! The fields surrounding we so spacious and allowed us to play frisbee and enjoy the sun ☀️ I highly recommend this house for a small get away with a big group as it accommodates for everyone’s needs (there’s a games room, study, comfy living room etc!). Getting to Colchester town for food etc was very easy as the bus stops are right in-front of the property ! Mandy was also great and very easy to get in contact with- thanks again! :)

World Cup Vacation

Our family of eight stay at Chery Tree Farms for five nights and wished it could have been longer. The house was beautiful, well equipped and met all our families needs. We would love the opportunity to return again one day for a longer visit

We really like the place it was so perfect for us. You can find everything what you need for staying in this property. Easy reach from London. We where visiting Clacton on the sea and Colchester park. The weather it was great. Family reunion heaven!

Cherry Trees Farm was our base for two weeks with visitors from three continents attending a family reunion/ wedding. The property was beautiful, well-maintained, and immaculate as advertised. We were greeted by Shelia, who took us on a tour of the home, spacious grounds and game room. Lots of thought went into the tiniest details in this lovely home, covered veranda, terrace and lawn. Loved the music room. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and too many gadgets, pots/pans, and dishes to mention. There were also treats left for us by Nigel and Mandy which was a special touch. We enjoyed Dedham, The Mogul restaurant in Manningtree, The Butt and Oyster in Pin Mill, and walking along the River Stour. Easy access to shopping, A12 and A120. We would happily recommend Cherry Trees Farm and hope to return one day. The Ash family

Fabulous Accomodation and Location

Ticked all the boxes. Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very accommodating owners. We used Cherry Tree as a base for our wedding at Le Talbooth and it was perfect. Added bonus of many great places to visit within a short drive. Highly recomended !! Thank you

Very comfortable, well organised, home from home, really enjoyed our stay.

This lovely family home, with large garden and ample living areas was a great space for our family over a wet Easter weekend. Age range 1 year - 63 across 3 generations, having plenty of living areas was really good for us, so there was space to be together and apart! We appreciated the generous basic provisions, and willingness to provide high chair and cot, which we had failed to specifically request. The house is well equipped, and the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, as there are a god range of utensils and equipment as well as fresh herbs from the garden, and dried ingredients. The verandah is lovely (although too cold and wet for us to use) and the games room, games and TV options made it easy for us to meet everyone's interests. Many thanks!

Got what was advertised in one

Stayed with my partner and families for one week that's three couples and one granddaughter plenty of room bedrooms bathrooms and kitchen the whole house was clean tidy plenty of space .love the gardener nice to have the use of the barbecue we loved the table tennis room we had some great games between the families. The owner were lovely very helpful couldn't do enough for us would recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay in the area. Me and my family had a great time..

Five star family weekend

Enjoyed a fabulous long weekend to celebrate a family birthday. The house is furnished to a very high spec with every piece of equipment imaginable in the kitchen. Really impressed with the well stocked store cupboard which is something I haven't experienced in other houses I've stayed. The veranda across the back of the house was beautiful and we ate all of our meals outside but the big selling point of this property is the huge garden. We love to play cricket, rounders, touch football etc when we are all together as a family, and with so much space everyone's competitive sideline really came out. The table tennis room was also a big hit when rain stopped play. Thanks to Amanda and Nigel for the lovely chocolate cake and relaxed welcome. We are already talking about a return visit next year.

Phantastic place!

Absolutely loved the house. Very high standard. Ideal for our large party. Breakfast on the verandah was a perfect start to the day. Thanks a lot to Amanda and Nigel - and their friend Helen who guided us to the house over the phone in the middle of the night!
