About Wahab Estate
The Wahab Estate, also known as the Samuel Johnson House, dates back to the early 1800's. William and Eliza Wahab were the original owners and first occupants, contributing to the island's heritage. The stories of Captain Thomas Wahab and his adventures at sea add an intriguing layer to this property's narrative.
Originally constructed in 1886, the Wahab Family Estate underwent an exquisite transformation, renovation, and expansion in 2007. Resting atop a continuous masonry foundation, this historic jewel features dual master ensuites, a formal living room, multiple seating rooms, a pool table game room, and a spacious sunroom. The interior walls and ceiling pay homage to Captain Thomas Wahab's legendary boat, the Wanderer.
The grand entrance leads into a lavishly appointed living room. An adjacent family room exudes warmth and coziness, with a wall of windows inviting in sunlight.
The contemporary kitchen boasts dual ovens, stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, and an expansive butler's pantry.
