À propos de cet hébergement
Maple Leaf Lodge - Deux Chambres Gîte, Couchages 10
Nestled in the heart of Ontario’s cottage country, Maple Leaf Lodge offers the perfect escape for families and friends looking to unwind by the water on Papineau Lake. Just north of Bancroft, in the charming community of Maple Leaf, this stunning lakeside retreat is only minutes from the highway but feels like a world away. The drive itself is part of the experience—winding past picturesque lakes, small towns, and breathtaking natural scenery. As you arrive, a gentle hill leads you down to the main cottage and a unique bunkie, providing an added layer of comfort and privacy for guests.
The main cottage welcomes you with an open-concept kitchen, making it easy to unload coolers and groceries upon arrival. Fully equipped with modern appliances—including a dishwasher—this space ensures stress-free meal preparation. Just beyond, a screened-in porch with an outdoor dining table invites you to enjoy evening BBQs while soaking in the peaceful lake views. Step outside to the firepit area, where crackling flames and roasted marshmallows set the scene for unforgettable campfire stories under the stars.
Inside, the spacious living room offers a cozy sectional that converts to a Queen-size bed, providing flexible sleeping arrangements. A gas stove adds warmth and ambiance, while a smart TV allows guests to stream their favorite shows. Down the hall, the primary bedroom features a comfortable Queen bed, while the second bedroom boasts two Double beds and its own access to the balcony overlooking Papineau Lake. The home’s thoughtfully designed layout includes a powder room off the entry, plus a separate full bath with a tub/shower combo and laundry.
For guests seeking extra privacy, the bunkie is a delightful retreat of its own. Complete with a queen bed, cozy sitting area with another pullout bed, dining table for two, and a kitchenette, it’s perfect for preparing light meals or sides to complement a lakeside BBQ. Whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee on the balcony, taking in the fresh air from the rocky shoreline, or relaxing by the fire, Maple Leaf Lodge is a haven for relaxation and adventure all year round.

The water off the dock is very shallow, approximately 1½ feet deep, making it ideal for young children.
