New to VRBO: Modern Apt w/Pool|Gym|BBQ Access

A modern 1 bedroom apartment, conveniently located in Dickson - close to cafes, restaurants and shops. A great place to base yourself for your time in Canberra.

During your stay you will have access to all of the apartment amenities - gym, heated pool, and BBQ. Please check the full listing information as it should answer most of your questions.

Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages.

This apartment is located on the 1st level of the building. It has a large living space, separate bedroom, and a separate bathroom/laundry.

Access is also available to the pool, gym, and bbq area.

BEDROOM:
Your bedroom has a queen-sized bed topped with fresh linen. The linen is professionally cleaned and pressed after each stay. The bedroom has a lot of wardrobe space for your luggage.

BATHROOM:
The bathroom has a shower and toilet. I provide complimentary towels, shampoo, toilet paper and body wash.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is fully-equipped and ready for you to use. You'll find:
- fridge/freezer
- stovetop
- crockery and complete set of cutlery
- microwave

I provide a simple selection of things for breakfast inculding muesli, tea, coffee, milk and sugar. These are complimentary so you are free to consume them while you stay in the apartment.

LIVING ROOM:
The living room has access to all local channels. There is also central heating and air conditioning in the apartment.

Check in information will be sent two days before your check in date and any codes will be sent four hours before your arrival, to prevent fraudulent bookings.

There is a key-safe for self check-in, although I am just a message away if you need help checking-in. Full check in instructions will be sent through Airbnb messaging 3-4 days prior to your arrival date. You will have access to all of the property amenities and consumables throughout your stay.

Building management only releases 2 key sets and 1 is kept by us in case of lockouts. With this, only 1 guest key set is provided. Please ensure to be safekeep the key set during your stay.

I am available mostly through Airbnb messaging but I give privacy to my guests. If there is an urgent issue, you can always call me.

I have been living in Canberra for quite some time now and can help you navigate your way around the local area if you need. I can also provide you with any tips on the best places to go for food or just to have fun!

While Dickson is a destination in its own right, with an established retail precinct and plans for a new retail development incorporating Coles and Aldi supermarkets, its inner-north location means you're just a few kilometres from the centre of Canberra. That means high-end department stores, boutiques, restaurants and theatres are just a fast bus-ride away. At Malabar you're half-way between the University of Canberra and the Australian National University and two of Canberra's top secondary colleges are located nearby.

Please do not use the neighboring carspace EV ports to charge EV

We don't provide HDMI cable however, you can bring your own if you wish to connect your laptop with the TV.

Just note that due to COVID restrictions, there may be unannounced limitations on pool usage / closures.
1. Please let us know if you need to check in early or leave later than the standard times. We will charge $110 for each hour of non-scheduled delay to check out after 10 am.

2. I have a STRICT "No Pets Policy" except for service or emotional support animals and "No Smoking Policy". These are applicable inside and outside of the property. Any breach will result in a fine of $400 plus any additional fees for specialised cleaning.

3. The cleaning fee covers the general cleaning and replacement of quality linen in the property. Please try to leave the place as tidy as possible. If the property is extra messy when you leave, an extra cleaning fee will be charged (minimum of $50).

4. Please be sure you understand our cancellation policies. You can find our current policy via your booking channel.

5. Only those persons who made the reservation may stay at our property. If you're a business or government agency booking for other people, please contact us in advance to ensure access details are made clear.

6. No parties or gatherings of more than the maximum number of booked guests are permitted. All non-guests must leave the home by 10:00 pm. No loud noises or music are permitted after 10:00 pm. There is a $2000 penalty for breaching this rule.

7. Some consumable items have been left for you in the kitchen (tea, coffee, sugar, milk), that you are most welcome to use. Also, the pantry has a few basics - no need to ask, just help yourself. We don't stock the refrigerator or provide any meals.

8. The property is not child-proofed and we don't have specific amenities for infants (i.e. high chair, cot). However, children under adult supervision are permitted.
