Extremely welcoming hosts (Claude and Suzelle) who take very good care of you. Claude waited us near the soccer field for few hours because we were late and it was not a problem for him. Wonderful
local meal was waiting for us in our fridge and it was very tasty. One day they welcomed us to their home and they had wonderful surprises for us. Claude also gave us a tour in their very beautiful
big garden and explained us everything about the plants without any hurry. I couldn't imagine better hosts. They were extremely nice and hospitable for us. Checking out a bit late was also not a
Apartment (Gite Abricot) itself is very clean and nice, and had enough room for our family of 3 adults + 2 kids. 2 air conditioned bedrooms, kitchen and living room together, and bathroom. Balcony on both sides, but we only used the one in the front as the one in the back was usually in the shadow (we usually left in the morning and came back in the late afternoon). It was really nice to eat breakfast
outside and they have good table and chairs for that on the balcony. There is also washing machine on the back balcony, but we didn't use it. Wifi was working well in the kitchen / living room.
Claude and Suzelle have some animals like pigs, chickens and bunnies. There are quite a few cats in the area and two nice fish ponds in the garden. Pool is really nice and has also some chairs for relaxing. You can see across the ocean to Grande Terre from
the pool. And when it gets dark, stars on the sky look amazing while swimming (there are good lights on the pool, so you can swim at any time).
Small downside is the location as it was quite far from everything we wanted to do and see during our stay (as we splitted our stay of 3 weeks in Guadeloupe to 4 different locations). On the other hand
location can also be good, if you want to see things all around as it is quite central. Quite a few mosquitoes, but it seemed to be a nuisance everywhere. Air condition helps in the bedrooms.
Claude speaks good english.
