We booked this property for a birthday celebration. There were just three adults staying, so we benefited from having so much space.
The house is very well equipped (three double bedrooms - two with en-suites - and two sofa beds in the hallways). So we were lucky to have a bedroom each - all of which enjoyed great views from the front of the house.
The house benefits from being incredibly private - surrounded by mountains and with views of the sea and Alicante in the distance. However it wasn't totally isolated - if you needed help with anything, the nearest neighbour, Jean, who lived further down the road, was always happy assist.
There is some very comfortable outdoor furniture at the front of the house to have breakfast and there is also a further larger table that seats 12 complete with a wind-out canopy by the lovely pool to enjoy lunch. We loved eating outdoors under the stars with the lights of Alicante glittering in the distance.
It's worth visiting the local restaurant, Venta Teresa, which is about 10 mins walk from the house for some honest, home-cooked food. The people are so lovely and always make you feel very welcome. They will also cook you one of their special paellas, and even deliver it to the house if you give them some notice. We tried lots of restaurants, and they were the best in the area.
The house is in a very good location for day trips and is about 40 mins drive from Alicante.
It was the perfect place for a relaxing holiday and we very much hope to return.
