The yellow villa is in a lovely quiet location with privacy. My two kids loved the pool.
The weather was nice and sunny throughout our April stay. I want to thank Lorraine and Stephen for allowing us to stay in their family villa .
I want to say a big thank you to Mehmet for arranging our WiFi, and being available for any
Questions about going out and about, and of course the transfers.
The sargarmie beach is close by , very clean with lovely soft sand.
The supermarket is very close to the villa and has mostly everything needed.
Thank you for a lovely review, and glad enjoyed.
Welcome back any time.
Fantastic family friendly villa
We stayed at the yellow villa for our summer holidays with my family for the last 2 years and we are thinking about going back there again this summer. The villa was very comfortable for our large family with different ages of children. It is situated in a quiet, private place. The kids loved seeing the nature around the villa with goats, tortoises and lizards. The pool was very well maintained and Mehmet was very helpful during our stay. The location is very good for walks into town. Sarigerme is a lovely, unspoilt town with very nice people and the beach is amazing. I would highly recommend this villa.
The villa is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you could need. It is very spacious and the gardens and pool were immaculate. Mehmet met us with the keys and was very helpful to us. The villa is a very short walk to the village centre where you will find everything you need.We will definitely return thank you so much
Wonderful relaxing holiday
Thanks to Lorraine and Steve for all their help, especially as we first of all cancelled, but the evening before we had been due to leave we found out that we could go after all. The house was thank goodness still available and Mehmet was so kind to organize a car and wonderful to know that a welcome pack would also be organized on such short notice.
The villa is secluded and is the first villa on a very steep street. We found it was best to turn our car by going up the hill and turning at the end.
The villa gets a wonderful breeze and there are lots of sunny and shady area’s to be found in the garden and the verandah’s.
Inside there is a spacious feel to the dining/lounge area, how wonderful to have 3 double sofa’s. With the high ceilings there is no air-conditioning in the dining/lounge area, but there are fans and they do their job well.
If you have a rental car, we would like to recommend “Asi Koyu", Asi beach. Lovely drive to get there and it is a beautiful little beach, though the array of fish is not big it is still lovely to go snorkeling. We went there 2 times between 16-17hrs and was then lovely and quiet even in July.
A stunning drive is to "Sarsala Koyu". I would say this is a ‘do not miss it’.
So all in all we did a lot of relaxing at the house but every day jumped in the car and went sightseeing.
Thanks Lorraine and Steve for sharing your house.
Another Wonderful Stay
Once again we have had a wonderful relaxing holiday. We would like to thank Lorraine again for letting us stay and Mehmet for looking after us whilst we were there. As previously experienced the villa was wonderful and suited all of our needs and the local people were lovely and quite a few remembered us. The new Aegan restaurant/bar served some wonderful meals and we would highly recommend them alongside the usuals - the Dolphin, Street and Karoke bar, wonderful meals were had in all of them. Sad to leave but eager to be back again. Many thanks.
Thank you for a wonderful review, glad you enjoyed yourself and look forward to seeing you again at the Yellow Villa regards Lorraine & Steve
Would like to thank Lorraine and Steve for letting us stay at their wonderful villa. Would also like to thank Mehmet who was lovely and helpful. The villa is great, nice and clean, fully equipped with everything you need, 1 bed with en suite downstairs which was great for the grandparents to have their own space and the 3 upstairs rooms was great for us and the kids. The pool area was lovely and was a sun trap all day with it being over two levels during the morning and afternoon there was both sunny areas and shaded areas, ideal for everyone. The kids had a fab time in the pool and the verandah was lovely to have your afternoon meal and keep nice and shaded. The Villa itself is right on the edge of the village around a 5 min walk to the shops/restaurants with a good selection to chose from we particularly liked the Dolphin, the Street opposite was also very good but not as much selection on the menu, however, does have a lovely pool area if you fancy a change from the villa. The Sarigerme/Karoke restaurant was also really good and it was roughly costing around £10 per head for our meals depending on what you ate. The beech was beautiful, however, it a bit of a walk around 10 mins from the edge of the main street in the village but well worth a visit. It cost 2.50 lira per adult to get onto the beech but children were free and cost 5 lira per bed. The cafe was fine for drinks/snacks like crisps etc; but only sold hamburgers or pancakes so if you don't like these then probably best to take along a picnic of sandwiches/fruit etc; we used the cool box which was in the villa to do this after the first visit. There is a lovely park area just off the beech for the kids as well and shower area to wash yourself off before going home. The local people were lovely and friendly and it was very easy to change money in town and you got a much better rate than at home, so would probably recommend only take a small amount for the first couple of days then change sterling to lira once you were there. Overall, this was a lovely relaxing holiday in an unspoilt village. Will definitely go back.
