Nice area but they did not let us use the garage and you could only park 4 vehicles at the house we had 6. Carpet needs replacing.. they told us to bring firewood but the fireplace is gas with no wood.
We do apologize for the vehicle procedure being different then expected. However, not using the garage in certain properties are strict rules, that are homeowners choice. We do specify in our description how many vehicles you are suppose to have in each property, and it also states that the fireplace is gas. However, if you can't seem to find it we encourage you to message us and ask, and ask about the fireplace and vehicle occupancy. If you need to bring more vehicles, we are more than happy to help you find a property that fits your accommodation.

Heney's get together
Payed way too much for what we got! We should have been told that "lake front" was a misnomer! We paid for a lake front home, but there was no water in the lake! Many problems with the house, I spent the first hour photographing problems (which they required, since we didn't want to be charged for these damages. No remote in the second bedroom, therefore couldn't watch the t.v. Toilet upstairs kept running, crack in the micro, piece of rug torn out of upstairs carpet, frig froze much of our food (veggies and fruit), even though they told us not to touch the controls! One of the beds even looked like it wasn't changed after the last renters stayed! Too many things to mention. Thank goodness we only stayed 3 days.
The lake is too low to use the dock
The property size was perfect for 6 adults and 5 kids (age 1-4 yrs) but the water level is so low this summer that the dock is unusable. The pictures misrepresent the access to the water directly from the property, which is why I paid the premium to rent it. Had I known that I would have to load up the car and drive to a place with water access, I would have rented a different cabin. Also, other reviews have mentioned access to a pontoon boat, which is no longer part of this rental.
With all that said, the owners have a ton of water toys, toys in the play room, beach chairs, coolers, fishing rods, canoes, stand up paddle boards and skis/snowboards in the garage for guest use. It’s nicely stocked in the kitchen and the pictures represent the interior very well. Had the water level been accurately reflected, my review would be five stars.
Hi Mark. Thank you for taking time out to review your stay. We are sorry that the lake was not full at the time of your stay and you found the photos to be misleading. We have taken your feedback into account and it is being discussed with management.
Didn’t like that I had to put in a 10 digit code every time we came into the house.
For all of the fees they charge you would think that it would cover putting away dishes and someone else taking the trash. Nickle and dime you for everything and if you don’t let them know of any damage within the first hour of staying there then you are responsible. Also had to drive 5 miles out of my way just for them to give me a code for the door! Why couldn’t they do that via email?
It was an awesome location and size!
The house was in a perfect location, on a very quiet street (we have small grandchildren) and right across the street from the lake. The little ones loved sitting on the porch and watching the fish jump and the ducks swim around. There was a sand barge across the street so the little ones could take thier Pails and shovels and dig in the sand for hours.
The house had plenty of room and as long as you are expecting a rustic lived in property (we were) it won’t disappoint. We had plenty of dishes and pans to do what we needed and get the kids fed, appreciated the dish TV so they could watch cartoons at night, and loved the book selection in the kids rooms. The sheets were a bit rough, so if you are a 750+ thread count soul (I am) you may want to bring your own sheets and pillows ( not much poof in the pillows there) for a restful nights sleep.
Yes, the furniture is a little worn, but it’s like going to Grandma’s if your grandma is like mine and doesn’t replace things until they are truly just beyond recognition! It was still comfy and I didn’t have to stress about the kids putting their feet on the sofa or spilling on the dining room chairs... perfect for a stress free vacation.
We had a blast here. The sunken living room with the fireplace was the star. It slept the 6 of us and a 1 year old perfectly. Wonderful place to rent and we hope to come back soon.
