Nice a quiet.
Cute cabin. Lots of little thoughtful conveniences. Heavy dew fro the river dropped from trees making a peaceful sound.
Nicely decorated/furnished cabin on the river
Not very large but well designed and tastefully decorated cabin with everything you need. The dirt road to the cabin is tough to travel on but not a big deal. The gas grill on the deck is all rusted inside and needs to be replaced but not allowing that to change the 5 star rating, especially since owner’s mom was so kind to bring us brewed coffee in the morning when we advised that the coffee maker was not working. Later that same day, they brought a new coffee maker. Overall, we had a nice and relaxing time at the cabin and plan to stay there again!
UNG Move in weekend
We rented for UNG Dahlonega move in weekend as our base camp. Awesome stay . Love the features, location , and layout of the house ! We hope to rent again !
Wonderful Little Cabin
This was a wonderful little cabin located right on the river! It appears newly renovated and is really clean! The river is not really swimable with young children but it still very relaxing and peaceful. A few of the outdoor things dont work. The outdoor shower and hose didn't work and the gas grill was about rusted through inside. Overall we would highly recommend this cabin!
Great home base to explore area
We had everything we needed for comfort, ease and cooking. 4 adults moved around comfortably. The beds were comfy and it is so nice to have the linens supplied. The AC in each room were amazing, the wifi worked nicely and so did our Verizon phones (better by window or on the deck). The gravel road needed a lot of navigating to get through with our sedan, it was much easier with our SUV. We loved the screened in porch, but did not get to use the gas grill or fire pit. We loved exploring waterfalls, wineries, the meadery, the gold mine, Helen, Lake Lanier, and the nearby outlet mall. My family out voted me for visiting the nearby petting zoo and the cabbage patch hospital. (Maybe next time...)
