I stayed at this resort last week with my family while we were visiting Glacier National Park. The unit was easy to check-in, kitchen well stocked, and good under ground parking. It is right on the ski slope and would consider coming back in the winter to ski at Whitefish. It
Unit is great, VRBO fees are pricey!
The unit and local service were great, although the hot tub was disgusting and gave a few of our party a rash (not folliculitis, just a rash that went away after a couple of days). The extra VRBO fees were a surprise. I'll try to book any lodging directly from now on. VRBO fees are excessive, and a surprise as they don't show up until after you book. Not a fan of the extra middle man VRBO!
Excellent location, excellent accommodation!
We booked this for a last minute ski trip, having never been to The mountain. We were pleased with the location—for those not familiar— skiable access to chair 3 which opens earlier (&then you can ski over to chair 1/2 and your warm up is done) or you can walk 100 yards and ski right to chair 1/2. So nice!! Truly ski in ski out. The condo itself is well stocked with everything you need to be at home, cook, and relax. The beds were very comfortable and lots of blankets to snuggle in with the fire. The lodge itself is also quite nice with some common sitting spaces, a hot tub, and a ski locker (yeah!). If you are looking for proximity to the mountain- choose here!
Great for a small family group
We had a great time staying here over the new year. The building is at the base of chair 3, so no walking to lifts or needing to spend any time at the main base. The apartment was well equipped and is suitable for a small group-there were only 3 of us & was plenty of space. The beds and linens were very comfortable and despite the frigid temperatures outside, the apartment was warm and cozy. 2 minor complaints. The management company were not especially responsive or helpful when trying to collect the key from a lockbox at their office in downtown Whitefish. We should have received a text with the lockbox code, but didn’t get it, so after several calls, texts and someone eventually helping us at their office (not before insisting they sent it) we got the code. I thought this set a bad tone from the start. If we didn’t get the text we didn’t get it, there’s no need to argue with us by insisting we were sent it. The other thing would be access to the building ski lockers. Lockers are in the building but we didn’t have access to them. Not.exactky a big deal, but would have been a convenient feature. Apart from the 2 minor complaints, everything else was great & we’d certainly stay again.
You could do better
The TVs were not working...no telephone reception...no dresser in one bedroom...not enough towels...it would be nice to know in advance that there is no a/c.. . It is dangerous to the health of seniors
Great location and well equipped
I spent a few days here with 2 adults, a toddler, and a 1-yr old. We had to be in and out to deal with the kids, and the location of the condo was perfect for that. It is truly ski-in/ski-out and very close to chair 3. I have no complaints about the unit itself. It was well-equipped and comfortable. Having 3 full bathrooms was a luxury. Wish the building offered some baby equipment (only option was a local rental company), but that's a minor complaint.
