Not the best service for the price
We rented a condo in Marbella del Caribe Oeste for the month of January. It was advertised as recently rehab'd, at a rental rate about 15% higher than any unit we’d previously rented in the Marbella del Caribe properties, essentially the daily rate with no discount.
The unit was similar to those we’ve rented before: 2 BR 2 Bath, small kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, WiFi and cable TV. It was clean and had the advertised features. However, not all the features worked as we expected, and the local agency manager’s response, while cordial, was much less aggressive than we’d received from prior agents:
• The garage parking place was occupied by another vehicle for the first five days of our contract and removed only after daily reminders to the agent.
• The combo washer/dryer leaked. Our agent visited our unit three times, bringing various people to examine and discuss the leak. It was never repaired.
• The WiFi router failed the first day and was never repaired or replaced.
• The king bed mattress sagged badly. The owner declined to replace it.
• Four lights in the unit were inoperative. An electrician examined them and partially disassembled a ceiling fixture but took no further action.
All these items were presented to the agent, most of them daily. He has promised to refund a portion of our rent , but as of this writing has not yet done so.
Issues that were largely outside the scope of the agent’s control:
• Cable TV reception varied widely between the living room and the master bedroom. The TV in the living room was flaky, but we worked around it.
• I provided my own WiFi hotspot to get email. Bandwidth varied between adequate and zero. I attribute this to the local Internet Service Provider, the same company that provided cable TV access. It's quite possibly the result of last summer's hurricanes.
Prospective vacationers should arrange in advance for refunds for non-working features or appliances.

I have to point out that the price per night for this, 900sqft, two bedroom, two bathroom, ocean front condo is very competitive comparing similar units or hotels in the area of Isla Verde.
After 2017 hurricane season, communications companies made repairs to their infrastructures which caused failures in the service. At this moment, it has been steady and both cable and internet are working fine.
The washer leak situation is been fixed, we had to order one of the hoses.
The building has common laundry area as an alternative until next week (February 12, 2018) that it will be fixed.
Please ask about it actual status and we cordially will explain.
The mattress is a pillow top, high quality. It's comfort is a matter of personal perspective.

The property is well located with a million dollar view of the sea! The pictures are telling the story; book this place for your next visit to PR; 10 minutes from the airport; 20 minutes from old San Juan. Thanks Jorge for your flexibility and amazing customer support.
OK, but not entirely
Marbella del Caribe is in a lovely location, with the beach right there and a wonderful pool. Plenty of places to eat out nearby. We especially recommend the tiny Suchi place across the street - really excellent and reasonable. We did not rent a car, which turned out to be a good decision - almost everything we wanted was within walking distance and taxis fares are regulated and reasonable.
The apartment itself is compact with uncluttered modern decor, but lacks a lot in livability. The kitchen is a little too compact, barely enough room for one person to prepare a meal there. We had three TV's but had to buy salt and pepper to eat with, someone could surely have left some behind, even had to buy a kitchen knife good enough to cut bread with and a simple wine opener. The washer/dryer combo leaked on the floor. The information booklet in the apartment was full of rules and regulations, down to how much we would be charged if a fork was missing when we left, but lacked any welcoming information, not even the phone number of the security desk if we had an emergency or needed to call a taxi, or what our options for medical help were if we needed it.
My recommendation would be to enjoy Marbella del Caribe, but from another apartment, and make sure to get some essential information in place before you turn out to need it.

This is a 900 sq-ft vacation condo. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes, glasses, utensils and everything necessary for a basic use during your stay. It is a normal size kitchen for this type of condo.

The condo exceeded our expectations. It is very modern, spacious, and clean. The location is great and we easily walked to the beach and our parking spot in the garage everyday. This is our second vacation in this building and it won't be our last. Jorge is very friendly, accommodating, and easy to get in touch with. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this condo to our friends and family.

Killer view and great location
Very nice condo right on the beautiful Isla Verde beach. Walking distance to drugstore, grocery store, hotel casinos and many restaurants. Short cab ride to Old San Juan, but car rental place right across street if you so desired to drive yourself. Condo was nice and perfectly comfortable for my husband and I and our adult daughter for the week. The other four members of our party stayed in the East tower, and our view was better! West tower sits forward of East tower so we had unobstructed views for our early morning coffee on the balcony. I do wish the condo had come with a bit more beach gear...beach towels, chairs and a cooler ( the East condo had all of these amenities and I got a little jealous)
