A wonderful week exploring a part of Anglesey that maybe most people drive past and miss.
A wonderful week exploring a part of Anglesey that maybe most people drive past and miss. This holiday cottage proved to be an ideal base for us. The cottage itself was very chilly for the first few nights so if staying in March, take plenty logs with you. Equipment was good, water heating efficient and bed comfortable (especially important after our coastal adventures) Welcome pack was a most welcome surprise and unexpected so thank you for this.
If you drive something big like a van, be aware that the turn in can feel tight through the gate. There is space to turnaround within the property grounds.
The cottage is much older and more quirky than we realised. A lot of work has been done to make this home feel comfortable but also unique and rather special. Well done
A lovely week! The cottage was comfortable and homely so we quickly settled in for the week.
A lovely week! The cottage was comfortable and homely so we quickly settled in for the week. Fabulous base for enjoying beautiful Anglesey.
Welcome pack was very welcoming!
Couple more oven proof dishes would have been useful. We managed but a washing machine might be needed for anyone with smaller children.
We stayed in this cosy cottage from 15-21 September with our two shelties.
We stayed in this cosy cottage from 15-21 September with our two shelties. The location was quiet and private with everything we needed provided, including a lovely welcome pack. Despite the horrendous wind and rain on a few days, it didn't keep us in, during the day, but we didn't venture out much in the evenings as it was quite stormy. Due to the weather there was a power cut one evening, but we were able to play scrabble from the light of the very bright torch provided.
We can recommend the Kimmel Arms in Moelfre which had excellent food and welcomed our dogs in the bar. The double bed and the sofas were very comfortable. The garden is enclosed and private, but grass could do with being cut. Would recommend this cottage.
Excellent cottage near lots of beaches.
Excellent cottage near lots of beaches. We had two dogs with us and couldn't have asked for a more relaxing base for the week.
Accommodation was brilliant all rooms had really comfy beds and it was very homely.
