Had a lovely weekend the kids especially liked the outdoor space and toys.

We rented Alminstone House for a 4 generation family celebration for grandad's 60th birthday, & it proved to be a pretty perfect choice for all 14 of us from great-grandparents to toddlers & we all had a lovely time! The house was warm & welcoming, with cosy bedrooms, plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots & pans, massive kitchen table & comfy seating in the sitting room. We lit the fire & it was a real home from home. The children loved the garden. The downstairs bedroom was useful but the only slight downside was the lack of downstairs cloakroom or bathroom for great-grandma who has difficulty using stairs... but we managed to help her up & down when necessary & it just added to the fun!!

Thank you so much, we'd love to visit again... just maybe when the weather is a little better?!

Great cottage - very clean, with ample of space and big rooms. I stayed here with my family of 14 for 2 nights and we had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The host lives next door and was available for any queries almost straight away. The cottage was decorated well with Christmas decorations, thus giving a very cosy and festive feel.

The only downside was the WiFi connectivity which only worked well in certain areas of the house, however it is something the host is looking to change.

Overall an excellent trip, and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for allowing us a late check out on Sunday, it made the trip even more worthwile!
