Lovely home, great views, quiet surroundings
We enjoyed our stay in such a lovely home. From the super plush carpet to the New Mexican wall art Jeanine's rental is a great place to stay just outside of Albuquerque. The views of the mountains and city can be seen clearly from the windows. Very clean and peaceful surroundings. We highly recommend this sweet suite!
Peaceful & comfortable lodging in Corrales
Very nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Great view of Sandra's & Albuquerque @ night. Corrales has everything you might need. Shopping, eating & art. Albuquerque & Santa Fe close by
Good Vibrations - Peaceful Location with View of the City
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is tucked away enough to have a rural feel, but still close to restaurants and activities. The rental is spacious and full of light. We enjoyed the views of the mountains during the day and the lights of the city at night. The kitchen is well equipped for any food prep. If you are coming in later in the day and tired, I would recommend purchasing your food supplies before coming to the property because once you get here you won't want to leave. It was lovely to have a glass of wine and look at the views and listen to the birds outside. We had our first meal at the rental, but went out for dinner the next two nights. I would highly recommend Hannah & Nates - a Corrales local restaurant that is great for lunch or breakfast! My husband wanted to go back there again, but we didn't have time. We also went to El Pinto for old times sake. Sadly, we were not impressed with the food there. The location is still beautiful with all the old cottonwood trees, but the traditional New Mexican menu was overpriced and didn't taste well. My husband's plate was cold when it arrived at the table. Maybe the other entrees are better. All in all I highly recommend this for your next stay in the Albuquerque area!
A lovely place to stay
I loved staying in this beautiful house -- spacious, very nicely furnished, quiet surroundings, peaceful atmosphere. The owner made us feel very welcome at the same time as she allowed us plenty of privacy. Access to all parts of Albuquerque is easy from Corrales, without the urban bustle. As a bonus, the birdwatching was fabulous, even there at the house. I would stay here again without any hesitation.
We were planning on a group if six and it ended up just my wife and myself inthus very spacious and well laud out upper level home. The art work on the walls brought the New Mexico art scene right in your living space and the quiet allowed for unwinding and relaxation. An unexpected snow stormed graced us with its presence and the gas wood stove added a frontier ambience. Jeannine was responsive, kind, and wonderful.
