Perfect location, lovely townhouse
This property is conveniently located with a lovely view of the ocean. The rooms are spacious, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Having 3 bathrooms was a luxury. The kitchen has what you need for your stay. The townhouse is very roomy with comfortable furnishings. The Hilton shuttle will pick you up and drop you off so you don't have to carry your luggage very far. The owners were very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. I would definitely rent this property again, and I would recommend it to anyone considering renting it.

Lack of communication to know where to check in.
We were lucky enough to be renting 2 units at World Resort so when we figured out from the Homeowners Association the unit was being managed by the Hilton. We were trying to avoid this because the most of the reviews I read check in is a nightmare. I so for future renter just go to the front desk of the Hilton to get setup. You won't be able to get in the unit until earlier evening (they say 4:00 they really mean 6:00.) Also, it will cost you an additional $200 for Hilton fees. When we got into the unit I was not clean. It was very clear the floor had not been mopped in many weeks or longer. We wouldn't walk barefoot on the floor. The dryer needs to be replaced or repaired. When you started it is best to just leave so you don't have to listen to it. Just disappointing.
Chris, I apologize for the unit not being ready by 4 PM. To eliminate this problem in the future, a new check-in procedure will soon be in place. Guests will no longer have to go to the Hilton. Also, to reduce the cost of housekeeping and improve the quality, a private service will be requested. I have contacted a handyman to repair the dryer. I appreciate your comments. They will improve the stay for future guests.
Awesome Sunset Views, Spacious 2 Story Townhouse, and Very Close to Mega Marina
This 2 story, 2 BR and 3 full bath townhouse is a corner unit with sunset views, walking distance to mega yacht marina, and casino. Excellent location is the middle of RW. Washer and Dryer a real luxury in the Bahamas. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, coffee makers, etc. I would recommend this owner and unit again.
Not happy with Hilton's service to VRBO villas
Eight of us arrived at the Hilton on Sat. morning 7/29/17 for our two day stay at the villa. We've been coming to Bimini for over 30 years and this was the first time we rented here so we were excited to try it. Assuming we were to check in at the Bimini World office, we walked down to their area. They sent us back to Hilton check-in. After waiting in the Reception line we were sent to a different desk. Nobody was manning the other desk so the min-mart store clerk called someone. 20 minutes later someone finally showed up so we tried to check-in but were told that the room would not be ready until 4:00--almost 5 hours later (of our only two night stay). Between 8 people, we had 18 pieces of luggage with dive equipment/fish coolers/food/etc. with us that we had to dig through to get our equipment, bathing suits and gear--in the middle of the hotel lobby, and then, had to check in our luggage (and carry-ons/purses since we were going out on a dive boat later that afternoon) with your bell-hop--who we also had to track down and wait for to open the storage area. Unable to use our food to make our own lunches for our boat trip, we also had to spend an extra couple hundred dollars to feed our large group. Upon returning from our dive, we tried to check in but once again, nobody was manning the desk. We waited a half-hour until somebody finally came over to help--again after repeated calls from the mini-mart clerk. We then waited (again) while we tracked down a bell-hop who could open the luggage room for us. We proceeded to take our own luggage out of the supposedly "secure" area--we could have grabbed anyone's luggage--they did not check the tags! After a long walk to our villa with all our luggage, we finally got settled in around 6:30 to take showers and make dinner. We started calling housekeeping for a few extra towels, trashbags and bedding for our two fold out beds but didn't get them until 10:00--after three more frustrating phone calls. Overall, the villa was nice and the view was great but the service upon arrival and getting anything extra was extremely frustrating. We basically missed spending any time at the condo on the first day and half our group couldn't even go to bed until they finally had sheets (but never pillowcases!). The Hilton is just way too busy to service the villas too and that reflects poorly on the VRBO owners. We lost almost an entire day of our vacation "waiting" and wish we could get our money back.

A New Meaning to Late Checkin and Poor Resort Service
First, I'll start by saying that the owner of the property did provide some concessions for our poor experience and was ultimately very responsive and easy to work.
However, it was simply unacceptable to be traveling with small children and elderly parents and not get access to the villa until well after 9p. The problem seem to have rested in the fact that the owner allowed a late checkout that same day that went well beyond what he expressed to us. The resort, which manages the property I guess, had very little sympathy and no urgency. In fact, they showed very little concern and made it clear that this was an issue with the owner and that they would not be inconvenienced by it - even though our party had been sitting around for nearly 5 hours waiting for access to the villa.
The villa itself was a very nice place and is convenient to the pool, casino and beach. We would give this villa another try if ever in Bimini again (the service and island have really gone down since we were there last year), but only if there isn't another party leaving on the day we arrive. The owner doesn't live on the island and has little control of how you're treated or inconvenienced.
Again I am sorry for this. This was the first time I had a problem with someone not checking out on time. The person staying before you was not reasonable in checking out and stayed until 5 PM. In order to fix this issue, I have discontinued people checking in and out on the same day.
