We enjoyed staying at Les Oliviers.
Comfortable and well situated.
It would be helpful to have a sign on your front gate. Had we been alone we never would have found you.
Our hosts were extremely helpful and very friendly.
Lovely view but would be nicer if opened up a bit.
Thanks for your comments. We always provide detailed directions to guests and show on google maps.
Glad you enjoyed your stay.
Stunning gite in a perfect location
This gite really is perfect - and we have stayed in a LOT of gites in France! The accommodation itself is wonderful - really well-presented and well-equipped with lots of personal touches (e.g. olive oil from the owners own olive trees). The private terrace is secluded and has a beautiful view over the stunning garden, pool and mountains beyond. The pool is really incredible - the saltwater and natural stone surfaces make it feel part of the landscape and I loved the tinkling of the water flowing over the infinity edge. It was great to be able to relax by the pool while my husband watched Le Tour de France in the gite a few steps away. The whole place feels tranquil and secluded - there was so much to see locally but we didn't really want to move from the gite! Having said that, what made this place perfect compared to other gites we have stayed in was the fact that it was only a 10 minute walk to a great village with shops, bars and restaurants. The owners were friendly and accommodating and David helped my husband arrange bike hire and gave him advice on local routes and even accompanied him up Mt Ventoux. We were really impressed with this place and would definitely return.
Dear Sarah & Rob, Thank you so much for your comprehensive review and we are delighted you enjoyed the whole experience. We look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future. regards D&K
Wonderful relaxing and unique experience
We chose to stay here for our honeymoon. There were another couple and a lady staying who had been multiple times before. This made for a lovely mix of both private relaxation and social company. David and Karen have created a wonderful garden of Eden with beautifully maintained gardens with shrubs in full bloom. With the cicadas , honey bees and dragon flies and a view across the ecological salt pool and the incredible view across the Luberon countryside, this made for a truly unforgettable experience. The gite is located in Saint Saturnin which was in our opinion the best of all the local villages. Less touristy with wonderful French character. David and Karen were ideal hosts. Incredibly helpful and friendly. We cannot recommend this place enough!
Thank you for your great review which is much appreciated. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you both back soon , Kind regards David & Karen
Our 10th summer holiday here ... a wonderful place
We stayed in Cerisiers again this year. Situated in a beautiful private & peaceful location, with splendid views of the Luberon hills, it is only a 10 minute scenic walk to the lovely village of St Saturnin. Both gites are spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped & having everything you need. Many charming villages & towns are only a short driving distance, where you can find some very good restaurants. The infinity pool with pool house is the perfect spot in the evenings for aperos & chat with the other gite guests & David & Karen, who are always amazing hosts. Our holiday here is always a delight. Look forward to seeing you next year D & K !!
Dear Linda & Dennis, Thank you for your review, we know its hard to find words when you've been ten times but guess that sums it up! Thank you for your support & look forward to seeing you both in 2019.!
Stunning views, close to village
Well appointed gite, close to owners home but totally independent. Beautiful infinity pool shared with only 2 other couples. Easy walking distance of a village which boasts at least 6 places to eat, 2 boulangeries, an excellent butcher and lively Tuesday morning market.
Whether you prefer to walk, run, cycle, drive or just stay still, the owners are regularly available with advice and suggestions to make the most of your stay.
And finally.....a glass of rose at the poolside as the sun goes down is not to be missed.
Delightful and well appointed property
A bright modern and well equipped gite set in beautiful grounds. The accommodation was very clean and well maintained. A charming traditional French village is within easy walking distance, and offers a good choice of restaurants and local shopping amentities.
We were assisted greatly in discovering this beautiful part of Provence by our very welcoming and sociable hosts, David and Karen, who gave us the benefit of their extensive knowledge of the area by making helpful recommendations, A thoroughly enjoyable holiday which we would not hesitate to recommend.
Thank you for your review and we are delighted our tips enhanced your stay and that you enjoyed your week with us. Kind regards D&K
