Lovely well appointed cottage, plenty of room for a family to stay. Would highly recommend!
We are a family of 5 who recently stayed for a week at this cottage. It is set in a lovely village which is very peaceful but provides easy access to Oxford, London and surrounding areas.
The cottage is spotless and very well maintained, we instantly felt at home. In particular the kitchen is of a high standard and has a surplus of cooking equipment which is often lacking in holiday homes. The downstairs wet room was fab for our oldest teenager! The living area is very comfortable with plenty of space. Both upstairs bedrooms are very pretty and of good size. During our stay we were lucky to have fabulous weather which meant that we made good use of the enclosed garden. Finally, the washing machine in the outhouse meant that I didn't return home with loads of washing, a definite bonus!
We honestly had such a lovely holiday, Thank you so much Sue & Martin, we would love to return for another visit.

Once again the moment we entered the front door of Linden Cottage we were greeted by the owner who takes a great deal of pride in her premises. The charming interior is decorated so exquisitely. Once again, everything we required was at our fingertips. Adore this cottage and wouldn't hesitate to make it our third return visit to our home away from home

What a great find!
We were thrilled to find this cottage close by to lots of attractions, amenities and a wedding we were attending in Henley as a family of 4 (2 under 2). The owner obviously takes great pride in the house and rightfully so. The photos don't do it justice. It is fairly compact but so thoughtfully laid out, decor is very attractive and homely. A lovely touch was the Christmas decorations including a tree - thank you! Unlike many self-catering accommodations, this was very well stocked with everything you need eg. Kitchen utensil and basic essentials. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.

Beautiful cottage in gorgeous location.
My family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children, 13,11,9 and 7) stayed for in the cottage for a week. It was simply 'home from home'. The cottage had everything we could possibly need. It had 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a further separate toilet and ample living space we never felt on top of each other even with 4 children running around. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The cottage is situated next to some fields, our children loved watching the horse, cows and calves. The surrounding area and villages are lovely to wander into. We used the cottage as a base to visit London (train station 5 mins away), Windsor, Thorpe Park, Chessington, Coral Reef Water Park, Oxford and Reading. If we visit down south again we would look to stay here again. We would definitely recommend!

The Old Stables
Very comfortable for the two of us occupying just the ground floor accommodation of this recently constructed Eco House for almost 4 weeks between house moves. There was ample off road parking and good adjacent access to the A329 and the National Trust 'Holies' chalk hillside. We enjoyed weekend walks from the doorstep with far reaching views over the River Thames valley and Chiltern Hills, sometimes in the snow. Our constructive comments would be :- A shelf in the shower in the wet room, a couple of serving spoons and another, perhaps smaller, chopping board in the kitchen and perhaps a few more paving slabs by the front door to prevent some of the gravel coming in.

Please accept our apologies for the absence of a wet room shower shelf; we agree it is essential. We had to remove a free standing one just before your arrival but have now sourced a more suitable hanging shower caddy. Thank you also, for the kitchen suggestions - the items are now in place in the cottage. We hope you are now settled into your temporary home and that your house purchase progresses to a positive outcome.

Notes on prices Our maximum occupancy is 6 named guests, plus one infant under 2 years sleeping in a travel cot, with a maximum of 2 under 5's in the party. None of the named guests may be substituted by another individual during the period of stay. •Heating, Electric, Bed Linen and WIFI are included in the Rental. •Towels are only included for overseas visitors, however, they are available for hire paid locally @ £3.00 per person for 1 bath sheet and 1 hand towel. •Saturday change over day for full weekly lets between June - October.
