Great holiday in lovely apartment
We had a a lovely holiday in this well equipped, clean apartment. Great to be able to walk straight out to the pool. Would definitely recommend to friends and will hopefully be back.
Ein sehr schönes, großes Apartment mit viel Sonne über den Tag. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet. Es waren reichlich Handtücher und auch Bettwäsche vorhanden. Falls jemand viel Ruhe sucht ist er im Herbsz dort richtig. Das Apartment liegt in einer kleinen ruhugien Urbanisation. Supermarkt im Auto 3 Min. entfernt. Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen.
Also ein gelungener Urlaub.
Worst holiday I ever had
I spoke to a David on the Saturday the 6th October on this day he never indicated that he had issues with the person above his apartment on are arrival on the 8th we were approached by the person upstairs asking how many days we were staying he then went back in to his apartment where he had his television on full volume he later then started playing his electric guitar for a least an hour as well as the television. Within 2 hours I couldn’t tolerate the noise so I email David and told him that we were leaving, he emailed me back asking me to call him. The next day I telephoned him he said that we should of gone and told him to turn the television down this is something we were reluctant to do as we did not know the person, I was called unreasonable as we didn’t give David enough time to sort the problem out but David informed me when he had stayed at his apartment he had to go up and tell the man to turn his television down, I was also told by his daughter that the complex security had been to tell the man off because he was being too loud, he has been reported to the person who he rents the property off so I see that all this information should have been told to me before I parted with my hard earned money if I had know this information I would of not booked the apartment in the first place. On the second day of are stay I was woken at 7 am to the loud television and some sort of rumbling noise above the bed which started up every 10 minutes, on the same night the rumbling noise kept me awake till 3 am. I have not received no apology from the owner. I think it would be reasonable that the owner should reimburse me the full amount minus 2 nights and how much it cost to clean the apartment. As David has issues with the person upstairs it’s not fair on future holiday makers to ruin their holiday like ours, I travel quite a lot throughout the year but I must admit this is the worst holiday I have ever had.
We have had no problems with any other guests.
And we have no issues with the guy upstairs Chris who is a pleasant reasonable man
As soon as we informed of this issue our daughter went around personally to discuss this issue and ask if they wanted her to speak with Chris but they had made up their mind no matter what that they were leaving
I spoke with the owner of the apartment who rang Chris and asked him to please not make any noise and I was informed any noise was stopped immediately
Our neighbour on the other side also confirmed no issues of noise with Chris
I am sorry our guest was unhappy but we did everything to assist
I am afraid it is just not possibe to go on holiday and have perfect silence.in a hotel you have to put up with other people including children.
The lady only stayed 2 nights and would not give it any time it was her choice to leave.
We have never had a situation like this before and all of our other guests have been very happy with our apartment

Thanks to Dave and Sandra for another wonderful stay in their apartment. The owners are very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay.Throwing distance to the pool where you can sit on the patio and watch the kids swimming. The apartment has everything you need and with the addition of wifi and satellite tv, it helped pass the time away at during the high sun.
Many thanks Dave and Sandra for the use of your lovely apartment. It's position is great with a 15 min walk to the village with its shop and tavernas. If you have a rental car Mandria is an ideal spot to explore the rest of Cyprus. Access to your wifi is a real bonus.. Once again thanks and we hope to book again next year.. Chris and Jacqui
Nous aimons nous promener en voiture jusqu'au quartier du port de Paphos où vous trouverez un parking municipal gratuit ; souvent, nous nous asseyons dans l'une des tavernes à proximité du château, nous consommons une bière ou autre et regardons les gens passer. Vous trouverez de nombreuses boutiques touristiques dans lesquelles vous pourrez trouver des produits locaux. Parfois nous marchons un peu plus loin dans le quartier touristique principal pour y manger un petit-déjeuner anglais (environ 3€). Vous pourrez également vous désaltérer avec une pinte de bière qui vous coûtera entre 2 et 3€ dans quelques cafés et restaurants. Nous aimons également nous rendre au marché du centre historique qui vaut le détour et terminer par un café dans l'une des tavernes surplombant la vallée et la mer. Coral Bay est une très jolie station balnéaire à environ 20 min de route de Paphos, nous y faisons souvent un saut à St George où se trouve un très bon restaurant de fruits de mer surplombant la baie, l'Octopus. Vous pourrez faire une croisière de 2 jours de Limassol à Port Said et ensuite jusqu'au Caire pour y voir les pyramides et son musée. Les divertissements sur le bateau étaient superbes, nous avons passé un excellent moment et le recommandons. Un marché se tient le dimanche à Timi ; Timi est très proche de Mandria et vaut le détour.

Booking Notes: Please contact us direct to check your preferred dates are available and we will provisionally book your holiday for 10 days. Once your flights are confirmed, we will list your dates as booked a deposit of 50% of the holiday cost is then due within 10 days. The balance of the holiday cost plus a security deposit is due 8 weeks before your departure. A £100 security deposit is required in case of damage and or breakages. This will be refunded less any costs within 4 weeks of your return. If you book through Owners Direct they will charge you a service fee of about £40 as security, but we are not too sure why. We ask you to pay into our bank account on line and we send an email / text message to confirm receipt and so this is all traceable. We prefer to deal direct with the traveller as quite often we negotiate discounts and extras etc including welcome pack etc. Owners direct cannot do this. The service fee they charge is in addition to the annual fee we pay to be on the web site. So if you pay the service fee its up to you. you can ring them on 020 8827 1998 to discuss the merits of paying this service fee. Changeover Day: No preference on changeover day.
