We were lucky enough to get to stay at this house for a month in the summer, fabulous property with everything you could need. Great communication with Alison and Terry, the owners, prior to our stay (and once or twice during it). Brilliant garden with a lovely outside dinning room and an additional dinning area. Very quiet residence and most of the time throughout our stay we were the only ones around the pool. We had 2 sets of friends each stay with us for a few days and they too were delighted with the house. Great location for exploring the region. Hoping our holiday plans for the future include a return stay.
Our third time at this property and great as always to open up and enjoy a well equipped villa ideal for two couples or a family. A huge garden offering sun or shade throughout the day - what ever your requirements!
UK TV and wifi mean you can stay in touch with the world or simply forget it all and enjoy the surroundings; a lovely complex that we never saw more than four at the pool (plus a huge friendly ginger cat) means you feel the pool is your own. The residents you do encounter are friendly and offer top tips on eating out in the best places in Albir.
If you leave the villa Albir beach front offers food, drinks and ample people watching vantage points along the way. The resort is a perfect size and the quality of food is wonderful with a huge choice on offer whatever your taste.

Perfect family holiday
We recently had a 10 day holiday period in this property and would recommned this place to anyone looing for a quiet holiday. The house was very comfortable and clean with everything you need. The pool was fantastic and very quiet. There are two great supermarkets a few minutes from the house and some nice restaurants. The bus stop to the beach and Altea is also really close to the house. We would recommend this house and would definately return for another holiday.

Cold and small
We booked for 8 weeks but only stayed for a little over 4. This property is very small and very very cold in the winter. In January the front of the house never gets any sun, and the rear garden only gets a couple of hours of weak sun in the early morning. Large trees behind the house shut off the sun around noon. Inside the house is always cold. The new radiators are very decorative but useless, and heating with the a/c units is super expensive. If this review has not put you off, make sure you see the electric meter at the start and end of your stay, otherwise you may end up being charged for someone else's electric.
The advert promises Wi-Fi, but it was not in the house. We were given the password for the house next door, but the neighbour decided to switch off the modem because the arrangement for connecting to the his system was not being honoured. Be aware, if Wi-Fi is one of your requirements.
The shower room downstairs is tiny. The shower cubicle is about 2 foot by 2 foot. Only suitable for small children.
On the positive side, the TV was as promised, the kitchen was clean and well equiped, and the bedrooms were comfortable. Hence the one star.
I was very disappointed with this poor review as everyone else has only had positive things to say about the house and area and thoroughly enjoyed their stays, before making a decision about staying with us I would ask you to look at the other reviews on Owners Direct, can they all be wrong?
It was probably my fault in offering to charge electric and water on a usage basis, which I sometimes do for long term bookings (over 2 months) as this lead to a major dispute with this tenant, when I issued them with the bill from the Electricity supplier. Unfortunately like everywhere energy bills have increased in Spain and it is cold in the winter and heating is necessary, unlike the UK everything runs on electric, water heating, cooking, radiators, washing machine, lights. Unfortunately I do not think this was taken into account at the time of booking, although I reduced my costs considerably. They left early but told me it was because other family members were coming to stay and they would need more bedrooms, at no time did they make any complaints about the standard of the house or its location, they were without wifi for less than 24 hours, this was quickly resolved once I knew there was a problem, we have always shared the wifi with our neighbours and this has never proved a problem. In fact I thought they had an enjoyable stay until I sent them the electric and water bills!
Yes the shower tray in the downstairs shower is small but has never proved a problem in the past, the house also has an upstairs bathroom with shower. The house sleeps a maximum of 4 people in a double and twin bedded room, is a compact village center house, within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, bars and beach yet still has a large private garden and community swimming pool, it is central, modern, bright and secure, what more could you want in a holiday home?
A stay to remember.

We spent a lovely 2 weeks at this townhouse and it was one of the best rental properties that we have stayed at in Albir. Clearly a lot of thought and effort have gone into the decor and equipment for the home. Great location for bars and restaurants and easy access to the bus and tram stops. We loved the private garden where we whiled away many an afternoon. Put simply we would definitely stay here again! (next time we will bring ear plugs for next door's clock - it is a big loud :) )
