The Heart of Utah's Scenic Wonders
This location in Monticello is central to all of the beautiful National Parks and Monuments as well as some wonderful state parks. We stayed 3+ weeks and always enjoyed returning to our 'home'. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities we required for a long stay. We highly recommend the home and the location for anybody wishing to visit this incredible area.
This was a good place to get family together!
I appreciated that there were 2 living areas. I also wish I had looked through the binder the owners left for guests, sooner than I did, as we were there to look at ancient ruins and they had an excellent catalog of lesser-known sites in it. It was a good base camp for visiting different attractions in the 4 corners area.
Very happy with our stay.
This was a great place for our Camera Club group to stay. Plenty of hot water for six people to shower. The beds were super comfortable. It was central to many National Parks. We will stay there again if we decide to come back.
Great place to stay in Monticello
We are four adults touring the Southwest and this was the first home we rented on our journey. It is very comfortable and quiet in a nice residential area. As two couples we had basically our own wings with s bedroom each and our own bathrooms. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we could need to prepare our own meals, even a barbeque in the back yard. It was clean and comfortable. I think the only item missing was a hairdryer. Otherwise a perfect place to stay when visiting the area. (Just a note - the supermarkets are closed on Sundays but we did find a gas station that had limited supplies). All in all a lovely house.
The house had a few minor problems, such as some missing or burned out light bulbs, some bedroom doors that wouldn't shut all the way, and temperamental toilets that kept running unless you moved the handles a certain way. But the bottom line is that it was quiet enough that I was able to sleep well all four nights I was there. I'm a very light sleeper. The slightest noise will wake me up, which is why I don't do well in motels. You can't enjoy a vacation if you're tired all the time. So I'd recommend this place to anyone who values peace and quiet.
