Quaint little cottage
It was a nice getaway for my husband and I. This cottage has a lot of personality and is located in a convenient location. The bar across the street did not bother us at all. Unless you're outside, you do not hear them. (Plus they have great pizza!) We love Eureka Springs and would stay here again.
Could have been Better
The place is obviously old, which was part of the charm, but as I am 6'3 I had to bend over to get through most doors, and the showerhead was below my chest. The place is small on the inside but cozy, I felt it was nice and meet expectations, with the exception of the mouse nest under the bathroom sink. Had it not been for that, I would have given four stars.
Overall it was a good place to stay, I doubt I would stay here again. The property could be soooooo much more, the outdoor spaces were not inviting to have coffee or look over the cliffs. It really is overgrown and surpasses what could be a perfect space. The outdoor furniture needs revamping or removed as pieces are too nasty to sit on.
Overall the outdoor space could really be the highlight of the property considering how unique it is.
Side note: If you're on a Motorcycle, do not go UP Mountain street, go on into town and come back up center.
Center Stone Cottage
Nice place & conveniently located to everything downtown! Nice having a parking place since parking is a luxury downtown.
Great, comfortable, cozy and well appointed. Also crazy convenient to downtown attractions.
Loved it. Will recommend this place. Be up for nightlife though as cafe/bar is just across the street. But anyone who's ever spent a night on Bourbon St will be quite comfortable.
Cute cottage downtown
Super cute cottage downtown, great location right across the street from Chelsea's bar. This is great if you are ready to hit the town and be up until the wee hours. If not, you may have some trouble sleeping if you're visiting over the weekend. You can hear the bar patrons when the air conditioning/heater unit isn't running, but it drowns it the sound when it is. We stayed over a very cold weekend, and the heating unit did a good job of keeping the cottage warm. The sheets and blankets are also warm and comfortable, but the pillows and mattress are sub-par. I would bring my own pillows if I were visiting again. The mattress is old; it has actual spring box-springs, so it's very shaky when anyone moves around on it. Also, because it's an older mattress, it wasn't tall enough for the headboard, so there is a big gap where the pillows kept slipping off of the head of the bed and on to the floor. I would recommend a new mattress, and there's plenty of room to upgrade it to a king from a queen. Other than the sleeping issues, it was great place to stay. The location and decor are perfect.
