Delightful and Cosy
Emily’s home was exactly what we needed - cosy and comfortable. The location was great. Close to several shopping areas and a short drive to the center of Queen Anne. This home is a good option for a small family or couple.
Comfortable beds in well appointed rooms
This downstairs 2 bedrm unit was adequate for us. Very comfortable beds and blankets. Rooms nicely appointed. We appreciated the prompt response when the TV lost its picture. The D bus line was nearby, so easy access to Space Needle and Pike Place. $10 uber ride. Location is on the edge of Queen Anne district and the road noise from the busy 15th Avenue West can be heard if the windows were opened even a crack or when sitting on the deck. In addition, sounds of walking and movements such as doors opening from the unit above can be heard. These sounds were quite loud at 530-6am and 9-10pm throughout our stay. Would advise sleeping with ear plugs to muffle the noise from the busy road and the walking sounds from the upstair unit. Discovered the bathroom sink liquid soap was thinned out with water so there's no soapiness. My bath towel had a hint of mustiness, so I didn't use it. Otherwise our stay was ok.
Great location and fun stay
We enjoyed our time in Seattle. The property is in a great location with easy access to downtown, Ballard, Fremont, and Queen Anne. Was worried a bit about it being close to a major street, but the road noise didn't bother us at all - even with the windows open.
Cute basement apartment that is centrally located
The basement apartment is super cute and well-appointed. The owner, Emily was easy to work with and helpful. Bed(s) were comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for breakfasts before site-seeing and pre-going out appetizers. (It would also be good for full-fledged meals but we were checking out the great Seattle restaurant scene!) Location was central and it was an easy trip to downtown sites like the space needle and Pike Place Market.
P.S. If you're driving a car, there is plenty of street parking nearby.
Clean, safe, convenient!
I would recommend this property to those who want a clean, safe, and convenient place to stay. I stayed for a weekend wedding that was happening in Seattle. Whole Foods isn't far to go and grab some groceries for a quick dinner if you don't want to go out. It's close to Queen Anne street so you have some choice coffee houses/restaurtants to pick. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and the house is clean and well designed for the space. I liked it!
