This was a very beautiful area with electric buses to take you to town and back. The place was cozy and quiet. Sonya took care of all our needs. Fully stocked with everything you might need. We will be back.
Great location, very nice hosts
We stayed here as a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids). There was plenty of space for us and the kids loved their little loft area with the 2 beds. Overall, we were happy with our stay, as the cabriolet was a short walk from the front door, which was a nice perk. The house had pretty much everything we needed- mostly updated (TV's, cozy couches, nice washer and dryer). We also appreciated the games and books that were provided and left new items of our own to add to the collection for future guests. Checkin and checkout was seamless and we appreciated the location relative to activities and shopping in the area.
We also appreciated the "no shoes" policy and provided boot trays and rugs- knowing that the newer carpet was clean for us and our little ones was nice! Plenty of coat hooks for hanging various hats, coats, mittens.
Some things I would suggest as future improvements that would make this a stellar stay: better knives for the kitchen (all the ones there were serrated and dull- so we provided our own), lightbulbs (fridge) and outlet covers being replaced (looked like some things had shorted in kitchen and dining room), mattresses in second downstairs bedroom and twins in loft could use replacement as they are pretty worn, and the electric stove top is pretty old and the coils seem to be lifted at an angle - not sure if maybe that could just be adjusted? Lastly, this could just be us, but we noticed that the heater does a fantastic job of heating but kicks in very often, keeping the upstairs common areas nice and toasty but the downstairs does not seem to keep warm. Perhaps consider adding a couple inexpensive radiant heaters to the bedrooms for at night? This would help with noise from the heater kicking off and on so often thru the night as well as keep things more evenly heated. Overall, these are minor changes that would make a good stay a stellar one! For the price, we still feel like it was a good value.
Hope this review is helpful for the owners as well as future guests!!
