Comfortable unit, great location
This two bed, two bath unit was in a great location and suited my wife, brother and me. It is a modest, but comfortable upstairs unit. Master bath door did not close completely and should be taken care of. All in all, we had a nice time in this unit during Christmas.
Nice place near quaint shops & beaches
A nice place to stay with bunk beds for the kids. 2 washrooms with showers, great access to laundry washer & dryer. David was kind, genuine, friendly & helpful. A great place for a family to stay to enjoy California. If you have a car, this is a nice location to visit different attractions including beaches, Disneyland, legoland, Santa Monica Pier, etc.
We would definitely stay here again. Way better than a hotel :)

A gem - perfect vacation spot in heart of CDM!
Where do I start? First, David is an amazing host and makes you feel welcome from his initial communications with you. He makes you feel at home and if you want that "local" feel - you will get it. I felt like my family was a neighbor vs. a customer/guest. Everything represented in the description and photos is spot on so no surprises. You are welcome to the place with a list of places to check out and helpful hints on working the TV and all items in the house that is a nice change from other places.
Location - just a few short blocks from great restaurants and bars. We ate at the Summer House, Soto Sushi and Rose Bakery - all were great and we recommend future guests check it out. It is walking distance to the beautiful beach area of Corona Del Mar and we enjoyed our morning and evening walks to the beach. Felt like locals! Also, it is very convenient to Fashion Island, Newport /Balboa area and major freeways. We were there for our kids sports water polo tournament and easy access to the variety of freeways to get to pools/schools spread across Irvine and beach area was key and this was perfectly located.
Parking - easy street parking by the house and even by the beach if you feel the need to drive.
Interior - it had everything we needed, very clean and the patio was a nice additional space to hangout in the evenings and enjoy the fresh sea air. I wish we could have hung out more there!
The only thing left to say is we are so appreciative to David for allowing us to rent this place -
it's a gem. We would be back in a heartbeat!
Beautiful Area, lots to do!
This was our second summer staying at David's rental home. Family of 4 plenty of room, clean nice place. Walking distance to the beach, many restaurants , and entertainment. David is awesome to rent from! Highly recommend ++
Corona Del Mar Townhouse
We have stayed here twice, and enjoyed our time. David is a very thoughtful accommodating host, who goes the second mile to make you feel welcome. The unit is clean, quiet, & restful- the neighborhood is very pretty, so taking walks is a pleasure. It is situated within 6 or 7 blocks of the beach (& lots of restaurants), so stays cool & comfortable at night. Surprisingly, there was always ample parking- which was a definite plus. Would highly recommend this vrbo.
Outstanding location and very nice townhouse
The townhouse was very clean and spacious. David, the owner, who lives in the front property, was easy-going and very nice. The location was 3 blocks from the beach and central to stores and restaurants. Street parking right out in front of the townhouse was absolutely no problem. The place was quiet, the mattresses were supportive and the kitchen had a primo refrigerator and other appliances. I would highly recommend staying at this property.
