This property is on the top floor of a sprawling, staggered level resort that is part hotel, part owner-rentals. The property was clean, though had some minor maintenance issues. It was a nice space, though it was darker than expected- the windows were small in most rooms, and the curtains were difficult to open (i.e., controls located behind furniture). There were a few amenities inside the apartment (boogie boards, washer/dryer), but nothing that gave it a special touch. We enjoyed our stay, but would probably look for a place with more character/closer to the ocean next time.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. I was traveling with my two teenage kids and the second bedroom with two twin beds worked perfectly. We made breakfast every morning and spent time in the pools as well! I will definitely rent this condo again.

1.One half of the lights were out or missing. 2.The tub in the onsuite was plugged. 3.We had a mouse in the master bedroom. 4.There is no BBQ tools. 5.Sea shells on the carpet in front bedroom. 6.The key to the door didn't work all the time. 7.The bed sheets in the master bedroom need replacing. 8.The condo is tired, it's time for some upgraded 9.I didn't care for the Knutson & Associates contract.

Our Stay in Royal Sea Cliff 704

The unit lacks security because the lanai door lock was missing/broken. Management knew of this and didn’t disclose this to us prior to renting until after we brought this to their attention, but they wouldn’t do anything to resolve the problem so we had to purchase a cable lock to secure our belongings while we were not in the unit. It looked as if others before us had duct taped the doors to achieve the same results. There is a nice ocean view; however, as stated in other reviews it is obstructed by at least 100 feet of building along the right side. Calling this a luxury penthouse is a stretch – we met other guests with more spacious accommodations, serenity and a preferred view. The unit was always dark, even with the blinds open due to use of CFLs in all the fixtures including torch lamps. Unit is well stocked with stainless pots and pans, and dishes; some of the plastic ware has seen better days. The oven, fridge and dishwasher work well. As was stated in other reviews it is showing its age: Carpet wear, holes and scratches in the walls, master bath toilet whines, clothes washer has a musty smell. The television in the living room was so old and small; we did better using our personal devices for entertainment. Our son almost cut his foot on large pieces of metal protruding from under one of the twin beds. Due to resurfacing of the parking structure and not being offered a reserved spot, we were directed to park out in the street on a few occasions. This was apparently known to management for some time and again they said nothing to us. With the elevators being right outside the door other guests and staff were constantly heard inside the bedrooms and living areas of the unit. For a no smoking facility, the neighbors were smoking marijuana outside keeping us from enjoying our lanai. We found the counters very high, no hand/grab rails in the bathrooms, if you are elderly, have mobility issues or are handicapped you may want

We brought the lanai door lock comment to the owner of the properties attention & are working on hopefully getting this replaced to avoid this comment in the future. This condo is on the top floor of the complex, so it would be next to impossible for someone to get access into the property from the lanai, as a general FYI To the public. We brought this review to the owners attention & it's disappointing to read that the unit fell short of your expectations. Thank you for informing us of the other comments you had concerning the plastic kitchenware, carpet condition, wall scuffs, toilet issue, clothes washer, & twin bed frame issues. The kitchenware, toilet issue, clothes washer smell & twin bedframe issue have all been addressed and resolved. We're discussing with the owner about touch ups concerning the walls, upgrading the carpet & TV. The TV in the living room certainly isn't large, but it's definitely functional. We do sincerely apologize you experienced the troubles that you did.
