Just amazing the hospitality was second to none the extra little touches just topped off our stay
Mallard cottages what can I say but just perfect would highly recommend this stay to anyone who is thinking of visiting Stirling or its surrounding areas the four days we stayed were just the perfect setting it had that homely feel with a touch of class
All attractions were on out door step I would highly recommend a visit to Stirling Castle which is steeped in history and a visit to the old town. Shopping is also on the doorstep of this beautiful cottage for any supplies needed
All in all one word describes Mallard Cottage amazing
Wonderful Cottage - Fantastic accomodation - Warm Welcome
I can not express strongly enough how fantastic our stay was at Mallard Cottage. Wendy is a lovely host and once we were shown around the cottage we were left to enjoy the cosy, high tech, freshly baked scone, highly appointed cottage.
Go you will not be disappointed!
Oh and the views......
Thank you Cathy, I am glad you enjoyed your stay.
Amazing high standard & well presented
House & owner where both brilliant house was very well equipped. Owner left start up supplies in the fridge was very good gesture. House was also built to very high standard and very very clean. Our kids enjoyed the big open garden was great enclosed so let us relax also. Layout of the house was brilliant kids couldn't hear any noise once they went to bed. Shower was also brilliant. Will be booking again for next year 10/10
Fantastic setting, very relaxing, beautiful views.
The property was set in wonderful location and set up by Wendy in a very thought full way, will definitely return.
Views to die for.
Panoramic views of the Ochil hills, Sterling castle and Wallace monument. Quiet location but very close to all ammenities. Well designed property with a quality interior. Cracker.
Convenient AND secluded ...
This wee cottage is remarkably light, airy and spacious and has astounding views of the Ochil Hills, Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument and Cambuskenneth Abbey.
It is perfect for those who seek a combination of convenience (supermarket and amenities just 5 minutes away as are the main motorways to the rest of Scotland, making it a perfect location to explore...) and seclusion (the cottage stands alone surrounded by fields and farmsteads).
Heated floors and a log fire keep it cosy in winter and triple patio doors leading onto a stone patio and the garden will be perfect for the Scottish summer.
The owners have put a lot of thought into ensuring that the cottage is perfectly set up for guests and are close by, ready and willing to be of assistance ...
We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage, location AND hope to return there soon. :)
