Easter skiing at Les Crosets

Easy and pretty quick transfer to the resort. The penthouse apartment makes a great starting point for a family to link in to the Portes du Soleil. The views from the main living area are great and the apartment is spacious, new and clean, and the Sundance bar downstairs is good for unwinding at the end of the day. The pizzas are superb! The longest walk is to hire your skis - must be almost 200m - but a few steps takes you to the short run down to the button lift, so no hard shlepping at the end of the day with tired kids!

All the kit is there in terms of TV and DVD, so bring some more of your own DVDs for entertainment.

The resort is small and quiet, so ideal for a family break, but there are eateries besides the Sundance to try.

It is only a short drive down to the attractive and traditional resort of Champery, both for supplies and other restaurants/entertainment if you want to ring the changes.

For a family this is a great set-up and I'd recommend it to friends, and happily take my family back...

I don't know through experience, but would assume it would be a decent base for summer activities in the area as well.

Long weekend in Les Crosets

I would thoroughly reccomend this chalet, I've been twice and intend to go back again.

The resort is very easy to get to by car from Geneva airport and the layout very helpful allowing one to ski to and from 25m from the chalet entrance using the nursery slopes. Ski hire is conveniently located about 200m from the chalet.

The appartment itself is furnished to a high modern standard and very comfortable. The facilities were clean and in good working order.

It feels very spacious inside due to the large windowns and has lots of balcony space.

The resort is fairly quiet, ideal for a peaceful skiing holiday. It has a few restaurants and bars, but would not be suitable for those seeking a rowdy apres ski. The bar within the chalet serves great pizza.

The chalet has wi-fi in communal areas, which I found useful. We made use of the sauna and jacuzzi in the basement.

Overall an excellent chalet.

Excellent holiday

A very spacious apartment which was well kitted out with all facilities. Most memorable were the incredible views. Wifi access also a plus. There was a welcome pack to greet us which was a nice touch and appreciated after the journey before we had had time to shop.

The apartment is right next to the lifts which have good access to the huge Portes du Soleil resort.

Overall highly recommended. Will return.

What a great apartment !

Thank you so much for a great holiday ! We just spend a week in the sundance apartment with our friends and we were all crazy about the apartment. Cosy seating places, the bar, the modern kitchen with plenty of dishes, the kids loved to have a bath tub, docking station for Ipod (great idea), nice and clean beds and so on. I really didn't want to go home on Saturday, especially since the weather was also great.

There's a nice bar in the penthouse where we had our little apres-ski party before we enjoyed the log fire in the apartment. We also booked the jacuzzi and sauna one day, which was fun for the whole family too. Well, I really can't find one bad thing.....

We'll sure come back!

You won't be disappointed

I have been disappointed by so many ski apartments that even the "normal" ones seem like a great find. This one, however, really is exceptional. I have visited three times already!

The apartment is even better in the flesh than it is in the pictures on the site. The view from the main living area will make you smile every morning. The apartment block is beautifully set-up; the restaurant and great bar (children are welcome in both) are down a flight of internal stairs.

The resort itself is small and friendly. The ski area is massive (links into the French resorts) and on the Swiss side you can buy pay-as-you-go lift passes (great for kiddies who only use about 5 lifts a day!). Swiss ski-school is admirable and reasonably-priced.

After three trips, I still cannot find a single criticism about this apartment, the resort, the ski area or the owners. It's not a party resort so don't go if you are huge on apres-ski but that'll suit most people.

Am about to book again for 2008...

Thoroughly Recommended!

A fantastic luxury apartment that lived up to all our expectations. The views from the balcony were simply breathtaking and just added to the whole experience. Les Crosets is a lovely little village that provided a great base. The apartment is perfectly situated meaning that it’s just a short distance to the lifts and then you have the joy of virtually ski-ing to the door upon your return.

The ski-ing itself was amazing and provided a seemingly endless variety of runs that would keep any ski party happily entertained – young or old! As well as a couple of local eateries we also discovered some great shops and restaurants nearby in Champery.

The locals and everyone associated with the apartment were very helpful and friendly, which just added to our enjoyment. One place we’ll definitely be returning to and would thoroughly recommend to others!
