Very nice place
A lovely house, authentic, clean and comfortable. Cristina was also very helpful for the booking as well as during our stay. She was also very quick in answering all our questions. The small swimming pool is nice for the kids. Sant Lluis is a charming village and many beautiful beaches easy to reach.
very cute and adapted for childrens
We were four during one week (two adults and two childrens )
the house is well equiped and very safe for children with a small swiming pool for them.
A lot of charm for this place, beachs are very beautiful and at proximity.
A very good location !
Big family holiday
We all enjoyed staying in a traditional Menorcan house, a cool and dark refuge after the hot, bright and beautiful sunshine and heat. It was good to have so much space outside, different places to sit and relax, and eating outside all the time. The plunge pool, although small, kept the four children and all their inflatables happily playing for hours.
St. Lluis was a delightful and serene town, which we enjoyed visiting: the windmill, the church, the playgrounds, the Italian ice cream parlour, and dinner at La Venta de Paco. The information you gave about the various beaches was very useful, and we managed to find our way to the amazing Calo de rafalet, Cala Binibequer, and Cala Binisafuller. We got the bus to Mahon, and sailed down the long natural habour in the 'Yellow submarine'!. It was good to experience real Menorca, rather than just be in a very touristy resort.
The family is already talking of maybe returning next year!
Just one suggestion: an electric kettle, or at least a kettle would be good. We English love our cup of tea!
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much for your coments, hope to see you next year and i promise you will have a kettel.
I stayed at Cristina’s house for over a month during April and May and was very sorry to leave. It has been a lovely break in the beautiful and peaceful village of Torret where the community welcome you with open arms. Christina’s house has been graciously restored and has all you need for a break, whatever the time of year. Unfortunately Menorca has had an unusually wet and cold winter and it seems to have lasted longer than normal so spring temperatures haven’t got up to the normal standard yet. Cristina left some electric heaters and wood for the fire, for those cold evenings and that was very much appreciated. I’m sure the weather will improve as I’ve been going to Menorca for many years over Easter and not seen it like this before.
Cristina's house is very welcoming and has the rustic charm of a typical Menorcan finca. The gardens are spacious and the tortoises pottering about provided a lovely daily distraction. Plenty of room for sunbathing or quiet time in the shade with a book.
The beds are extremely comfortable and bedrooms tastefully decorated in a simplistic way; perfect for the house.
The shower was powerful and hot water was more than enough for my guests and myself.
With plenty of restaurants local to the area, beautiful local walks and San Lluis on your doorstep, I recommend Cristina’s house for anyone who wishes to stay in Menorca as a perfect base for exploration of this wonderful island.
Thank you Cristina for being a wonderful host (and for being there when needed at the end of a phone!) and I hope to catch up with you on one of my many visits to Menorca. Thank you to Jordi too, for being the perfect, respectful and helpful man when we had a problem with a key.
I will miss your house incredibly!
cute & calm
we loved staying at Cristina's house, which is cute and functional, with a tasty and sober decoration.
slightly apart from the heart of the nearby city of Sant Lluis, the house offers calm and wonderful starry nights.
The children (from 4 to 7) did enjoy the garden where several playground spots were prepared : a (safe) little house in a low tree, a children kitchen sheltered in the shadow, and a mini-swimming pool to play a refresh during the hotest period of the day.
