À propos de la location

4 Bedroom, 3 Baths, Mountain Views, detached man cave with pool table,

The perfect private estate for your wedding, family reunion, family vacation or just a wonderful get a way for skiing, fly fishing, golf, rafting or sightseeing. GROUND FLOOR: From the ground floor of this incredible 40 acre Montana estate our guests enjoy cross country skiing, breathtaking views of Tobacco Valley, Lake Koocanusa and Black Lake and gaze into the Canadian Rockies, West Kootenei mountains and the Whitefish range, all from the living room, the front porch and the upper deck ...
tside the Master Suite. This one of a kind private property is remote and isolated yet less than 10 minutes from downtown Eureka MT where there are several good restaurants and places to shop. The character of the main house is 100% pure Montana! It features floors and stair ways of reclaimed barn wood, 20 foot tall ceiling and large stone fire place imbedded in a wall of 12 inch reclaimed Oregon bridge timbers. Handmade twisted Juniper wood tables add character and uniqueness to the ground floor living area, while leather recliners, swivel chairs and a lovely sofa provide comfortable seating in the living room. A beautiful moose rack chandelier illuminates the living room and an authentic ancient Wooly Mammoth (Mammoths primigenius) tusk sits atop the huge mantel which is a reclaimed pegged bridge timber. These Mammoths still walked the earth when the Pyramids were built. The last known survivors are thought to have perished 2500 to 2000 years ago. This beautiful artifact was found frozen in the Alaskan Tundra over a hundred years ago and now is proudly displayed above the warm fire place reminding us of eras past. The kitchen/dining area features an 1800's wood burning cook stove that has been modernized to use electricity as well as a totally modern convection microwave oven, dish washer, dining table and chairs, refrigerator/ freezer, disposal, bar and bar stools. Also on the ground floor is a full bath, and 2 bedrooms each with queen size beds and closets. One bedroom features a queen size hand made wolf pelt comforter and the other a queen size hand made beaver pelt comforter. SECOND FLOOR: The spacious Master Suite is on the second floor and features sliding glass patio doors that open to a walk-out deck. The Master Bath has a glass and granite shower for 2, his and her sinks, individual storage space and a Jacuzzi tub for 2 (a very romantic place). All the Master Suite furniture is hand built from reclaimed wood including the very comfortable king size bed. (The bed rails are made from an old barn door). Also on the second floor is a living area/TV room with cable, a comfortable recliner and sleeper sofa. LOWER LEVEL: The lower level is a fully self-contained walk-out basement apartment. The apartment contains a full bath, bedroom, living area, and laundry/exercise room. This living area has a big screen TV with Direct TV cable. The bedroom is rather large with a king size bed, a twin with trundle bed, small dinette set a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The laundry room/exercise room has a washer and dryer and a TV to watch while on the treadmill. GAME ROOM: The game room is detached from the main house therefore allowing some separation between those who prefer peace and quiet while others enjoy a livelier or louder experience. Here one will find a full size regulation ping pong table and full size regulation pool table, refrigerator and fully functional 1800's wood stove with plenty firewood in the attached wood shed. The leather recliner and reclining sofas make sitting around the stove so very comfortable while watching others compete on the tables. EUREKA AND THE AREA: The city of Eureka is located in North Western MT on US HWY 93 about 8 miles from the Canadian border. The nearest commercial airport is Glacier International Airport in Kalispell, MT. (airport code FCA). Eureka is approximately * An hour and 20 minutes from the Kalispell airport * 50 minutes from Whitefish Montana which lies at the foot of Big Mountain, one of Montana's finest Ski Resorts * one and a half hours to Glacier National Park, the "Crown of The Continent" *one hour to Fernie Alpine Ski Resort in British Columbia * 15 minutes to the Lake Koocanusa bridge, the longest and highest bridge in the state * 10 minutes to the US / Canadian Border * hour and a half to Kootenai Falls and swinging bridge The town of Eureka is a beautiful quaint little town with plenty of shops and good places to eat. The management team of Montana Homestead includes a rafting guide, hiking guide, and a licensed fly fishing guide with all fishing equipment included. Beautiful Montana Mountain Home

  • 5 de 5

This home is a rarity. It sits atop a hill with beautiful mountain views. The home is decorated to perfection with many one of a kind decorations and additions. The size is perfect - we had 7 adults and 1 child. Comfort, comfort, comfort! The deck is large and a good spot to sit and reflect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Secluded, Stunning, and Comfortable

  • 5 de 5

It's almost unbelievable how beautiful the views from this house are. Whether it's sunset, sunrise, or a whitetail deer munching on grass 10 feet from your bedroom window, you will not be disappointed! The house was well appointed in terms of small appliances, comfortable furniture, and art, though we would have appreciated a few plastic cups and plates for the kids and step stools for the high bowl sinks. If you are traveling to Montana with kids in the summer, be aware that the sun rises early and sets late and there are no curtains on any bedroom windows (I get it, the views are amazing). We really appreciated the recommendation to bring slippers! The town of Eureka is really quaint. We took our daughter to Cafe Jax for her 5th birthday breakfast and the staff came out singing after they saw her wearing her birthday shirt! The food there was tasty, a must-try! All of the shop owners/workers in town were very friendly. During our stay, we traveled to Glacier National Park four days and to Kootenai Falls one day. It was A LOT of driving (3+ hours a day) The checkout instructions for this rental were very simple. We've stayed at some VRBO rentals with a long list of things to do, so we appreciated the easy checklist since our flight out was at 5am. We barely stepped foot in the game room because of all of our time spent hiking and exploring, but it looked awesome and comfortable. The WiFi was reliable, in case you have to work a bit. One thing that would have been helpful is a stack of brochures/books of all the things to do in the area. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

It was incredibly relaxing and tranquil! The right amount of seclusion and perfect distance from the closest town. We've recommended this house to all our friends. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Vacation

  • 5 de 5

This home in Eureka, Mt is a wonderful place to stay. This is our second time to stay here. The house is very inviting and we love how it is decorated. There is plenty of room for family or friends, and everything you need is provided. We were happy just to spend time enjoying the awesome view from the deck. We did take some excursions around the area, as there are a lot of things to see. We rode our motorcycles around the lake area, explored the town and made a trip in to Canada. It was nice that there was cell phone reception at the house. Also we were really happy to have a garage so we could keep our motorcycles inside. The clubhouse is a great place to hang out also. Last time we enjoyed the ride to Glacier National Park. We enjoyed our trip and are making plans for the next time. You won't be disappointed.

Montana mountain home outside Eureka, MT.

  • 5 de 5

An A+ property. During our week stay (there were 4 couples), deer, grouse, and turkey wandered right in front of the windows. Our group flyfished on the Kootenai River, took a Red Bus tour on the Driving to the Sun Road in Glacier Park, visited the water falls where some of the movie "The Revenant" was filmed, and ate huckleberry pie and shopped in Whitefish. The accommodations and beautiful customized style of the home was just as advertised. We eight now want one just like it.
