She checked on us to see if everything was good, if wee needed anything, made me feel very comfortable. California trip 2018
Great location, you can see the beach from the property. I didn't realize that the condo also came with a garage space which was really useful for our rental car. The condo felt very homely and the owners made us feel very welcome.

Fantastic Location- Close to beach and other attractions.
We had a great stay in October 2017 at this great 2nd floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Utilizing the sleeper sofa in the living room we were able to fit 3 adults and 3 children. There is a community laundry room and a private garage on the 1st floor. The garage may fit a small vehicle but also has some beach toys and other stuff in it. Parking is available for free during select hours right in front of the condo (with parking permit provided by owner). There is also unlimited free parking curbside on the other side of the street from the condo. The condo is in close vicinity to the train tracks and you may hear the train at night. We only stayed a few nights but there seemed to be more train traffic during the week versus the weekend nights. We actually ran to Walmart and bought a couple fans for some white noise after the first night, with the fans going it was no problem. From the living room you can hear the train the most due to the location and windows. The only other issue we had was one of the bedrooms only has light filtering shades so the morning sun would light up the bedroom pretty early. We have a young child so we improvised some garage bags over the window and it worked perfectly to block the morning sun. These are both very minor issues that we were able to resolve easily. I wouldn't let either of these dissuade you from staying at this condo.
The beach is a very short walk from the condo, probably took 5 mins or less. This condo is basically located at the south end of "The Strand". The morning high tide limits the usable area of beach but if you walk down just 100 yards there is plenty of beach space. By afternoon there is ample beach area very close to the condo. The Oceanside pier is also in walking distance and is a beautiful must see at sunset. The condo has a 2nd floor deck with ocean views. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck where we could see and hear the waves break and even saw dolphins one morning. There are also several delicious restaurants in walking distance and many, many more within a 5 mile drive.
Lisa the condo owner is awesome and was excellent to work with! Communication with her was very easy. She responded to texts quickly and was very flexible with our arrival and departure times. As many other reviewers have mentioned, Lisa leaves an abundant selection of gift cards for local restaurants. We took advantage of her gracious offer and visited several. Thanks Lisa!

Tenant acknowledges that all credit card transactions are subject to 2.5% processing fees for which they will be responsible which will be deducted from the refundable security deposit. There is no smoking on the premises. Tenant agrees to place trash bins from the garage in front of garage door for pickup every Thursday evening and shall return the emptied bin to the interior of the garage after pick-up on Friday.
