Lovely flat, lovely location, lovely owners

Greeted at the door by lovely Mrs. Anley, fridge and cupboards stocked with staples, very comfortable with the exception of no air conditioning during a heat wave. A portable a/c unit would have made the stay absolutely perfect/

A lovely home away from home

I visited London for a two week vacation with my 3 adult children, and we all agreed that we'd made the right choice for our London flat. The flat is comfortable, roomy, well-equipped, filled with beautiful art, and we loved returning home to it each night after a busy day in London. The location can't be beat: It's part of a quiet, interesting neighborhood with only a 5 minute walk to a large grocery store and miscellaneous shops and restaurants, and another 5 minute walk to the subway/train station. The owners promptly answered all of our many pre-visit questions, and personally met us at the flat on our day of arrival. Very kind and considerate. I look forward to my next visit to London, and will definitely try to book this flat again!

Everything We Hoped For!

Reviews of this rental are spot on: Apartment is well-maintained, centrally located and quiet. We had a wonderful experience with the Anleys and were so appreciative of the warm welcome we received on arrival. Our party of five (two adults and three children under 10) had plenty of room in the two-story flat to spread out and relax after a day of sightseeing. Rooms were cozy and outdoor garden was a nice urban eascape. The only problem we had was getting the kids to leave! We all loved the flat and would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful stay - once again

Once again, a lovely stay in this very comfortable, cozy house. We stayed here four years ago, and wanted to come back as it is so centrally located for us. It's just a few blocks from Kings Cross/St. Pancras. Olga was there to make sure when we arrived that we knew where everything was, how things worked, and her husband got our laptop working! This house is so well maintained, the kitchen is a joy to either make breakfast, have snacks at the ready, keep our white wine cold, etc. And t's so nice to have two bathrooms! Plus a third powder room downstairs. We ate French pastries at the Deux Amis Patisserie, the North Sea Fish Restaurant (best fish and chips ever), the Chinese restaurant just a few blocks away, and Harrison's (I think that was the name - just around the corner) for Sunday roast dinner. I can't even imagine staying in a hotel when we can stay in our own place, living like the locals, in absolutely comfort. Thank you to the Anleys!!

Look NO further - this is THE place!

If you are debating among VRBO properties in central London, look no further - you will love staying here! This spacious, beautifully furnished townhome is in a perfect location very close to Kings Cross/St Pancras, yet it is SO quiet and serene, both inside and outside in the Asian-inspired garden. The large picture window and the French doors in the living room bring the garden ambience inside. The photos (while nice) do not do it justice. The master bed is very comfortable and the re-modeled insuite bath is a dream; the heated bathroom floor was an extra nice touch on chilly mornings. The modern kitchen is great, and the refrigerator was stocked for us with some basic food items. The townhome is immaculately clean. Vases filled with daffodils added an extra nice touch. What a wonderful place to come home to, especially after long work days (it was a business trip for me). Olga and Vernon welcomed my husband and me upon our arrival and they are a delight. We enjoyed 18 marvelous days in late April to mid-May 2015 at this "home away from home." Highly recommend!

The price quoted is for a maximum of 5 people. Price £300 per night. Minimum stay 5 nights. Changeover dates are flexible. The price includes electricity, gas, internet and linen. A deposit of 20% secures the booking & covers against breakage, loss or damage. Telephone charges are deducted from the deposit. If you would like extra cleaning service this can be arranged. The cost is £10 per hour with a minimum charge of 3 hours. There are local laundry services for shirts and suits etc.
Payment only accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency & the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner/advertisor.
20% deposit within 7 days of confirmation of booking. Full payment due 30 days prior to arrival.

A deposit of 10% is requested one month before your arrival. The deposit is refunded after your stay.
The rental sum is payable two weeks before your arrival - unless you prefer to pay in cash.
