Great city location
Great location. Property fit our family of 4 nicely.
Perfect for our weekend!
We came in for my niece's wedding and it was perfect! It was so much better than a hotel - the location was awesome for us. Parking was very convenient and we could actually see our cars from our location. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and I had 2 nights of very good sleep. We cooked breakfast which was really nice too; and walked to Dunkin Donuts for coffee (my husband and I are early risers so the walk was nice). There happened to be a festival going on when we were there so it was really nice to hear the music playing as I was getting ready. The other reviews are correct about the stairs. If you have any problems with steps, this is not the place for you. Lastly, owner was great and responded to minor question within minutes. We would definitely book again and I highly recommend staying here. Also, we had dinner at the Gran Caffe L'Aquila (1716 Chestnut Street) which I highly recommend. We had a reservation for 14 and it was awesome (about a 10 minute walk on a beautiful evening). So glad we found this place.
Scary stairs, dingy apartment, good location
We rented this apartment for a group of girlfriends for one night. There were 6 of us (noted on initial reservation), yet there wasn't really room for all of us. There was one air mattress but no sheets. There were only 4 towels and no extra ones to be found. Only one roll of paper towels and one box of tissues for the whole apartment. The stairs are a legit nightmare. There is not one photo of them in any of the listing photos. They're twisty, half steps and not ideal for carrying anything up or down. The living room was spacious and kitchen adequate (we didn't cook anything). The half bath sink leaked all over the floor. Everything seemed kinda dirty, especially the floors. Overall, the apartment needs some major sprucing up. We had a great time being together, but the apartment wasn't really part of that.
Please read other people’s reviews. This is an anomaly. Yes, there was a plumbing issue, which was super easy to fix, but the guest never even mentioned it. Super weird. Most people love this apartment.
Lovely apartment! Terrific location, and thoughtfully appointed. Owners were great communicators and helped us get settled, early. We would definately stay here again!
A nice flat in a great neighborhood! Very recommendable.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The flat is charming with its pleasant patina of an old house. Everything is nearby in a walkable neighborhood near downtown. Perfect location for strolling through the City.
Wonderful place for our family. Clean, spacious, traditional Philadelphia styled home
Stayed with our two kids and everyone loved it. For the same price as a hotel, we were able to spread out and really enjoy ourselves. Owner was responsive when we had a question. Such a great place!
