Brilliant - We Will Return
What you see is what you get - the description and images on the website were accurate (if anything slightly understated) It is clean, comfortable and very very spacious.
The position is almost perfect, right by the beaches and a few minutes to the town center, the area seemed really upmarket.
We are biking fanatics so we really enjoyed being right on the cycle path and rode all of the 32 km between Ospedaletti and San Lorenzo, which is beautiful as it runs on the old railway line right along the sea.
The owner, Anne helped us with everything and had some great ideas as to how to spend our time, best beaches, places to visit and fantastic restaurants etc.
We will return.

The house has all household amenities and dishwasher so you can have social time easily.Bedrooms have great bed linen and heating throughout house.A bath and shower with nice clean linen and toilet.Lounge with TV and DVD and comfy sofa and excellent desk for writing postcards.Close to beach shops public transport and churches.A special location in San Remo .

We so much enjoyed our stay in Sanremo at this beautiful villa apartment. It was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and in a fabulous position right by the sea. It was so easy to walk into the town center in the evenings.
The sea view terrace is a great place to sit out and watch the boats go by. The view is fantastic, as it is throughout the house. I would thoroughly recommend anyone visiting Sanremo to stay here, as we will later on in the year.

Unfortunately the property did not match our expectations at all.
We found the property to be very dirty when we arrived and when we spoke to the owner about it she said she’d talk with the cleaner. 8 days later the cleaner came, and did a good job - and we had to pay her! However for 8 days we felt very uncomfortable. We were unable to use the oven at any time in our nearly three week stay due to the state it was in. The washing machine stopped mid cycle so we had to stay in and manually move the cycle on. The air conditioner was broken and it wasn’t until we said we wanted a refund that a replacement was made. It did not adequately cool the property and we had to do a makeshift job of ‘plumbing’ it into the bathroom so the water didn’t spill all over the floor and the hot air could be piped out through a window. There was one wine glass only plus a broken one. The cupboards contained previous renters’ food leaving no room for us to store our groceries. What was most disappointing is that the owner didn’t accept any responsibility for the state of her property. She blamed the cleaner, the previous renter, and for some time didn’t see that as the owner she needed to rectify the problems. We have used Vrbo for many years and this was the first time we have encountered such a property. The photos and description advertising the property did not match the property.
Helen was one of the rental clients which every property owner dreads, sent from hell with impossible demands. Her complaints started on day 1 as she bought the most enormous car which wouldn't fit into the normal size parking space. My neighbors agreed all to move their cars to make space for her, after I spent hours to convince them. She doesn't mention the effort that went into this.
The clients before her removed the air conditioning tube, within 24 hours my son carried a brand new machine up the stairs, as it was a holiday weekend and no other delivery was possible. To find a new tube was impossible. This also didn't get a mention.
She said the house was dirty because in the cupboards the cleaner always leaves coffee, tea, salt etc to make start up easier, this was said to be filthy and disgusting!. I asked her when the cleaner should pass by, she said after a week so she can change the linen. The €30 was a linen charge. At the end of the rental there is a fixed charge of €50 for final cleaning and linen, which Helen did not leave and I did not deduct from her deposit. None of this is mentioned. The washing machine has a no spin button on it and doesn't spin if its pressed down.
