Enjoyed our stay
Property as described in ad. Owners very easy to work with. We had no issues and would recommend this property. We’ve stayed at various condos in the area and enjoyed our time here very much.

Dirt and grime
Nice view and location to the pier.. but, hair still in showers.. large amount of black grime at bottom of shower in bedroom. Unclean coffee maker. No can opener. Had to run out and buy one but not a big deal like the dirt. Dusty furniture. Washer and dryer needs a big cleaning too. This is a nurses review and I don’t want anyone to get sick. You ask for a summary, hope it helps!
When this review came to my inbox I stopped everything I was doing and immediately drove to our condo to see what had happened in the last 7 days to make such a difference from the guest that checked out 4 days before you arrived. As you can see they gave a 5 star review. I went through my condo entirely and cannot find all of these issues. The first thing I would like to say is that I personally call each guest with the door code and ask them to call me if they find one thing out of place or not acceptable. I never heard one word from you your entire stay. I can find nothing wrong with our washer and dryer as they are relatively new and maintained on a regular basis. I have never found hair in my showers and inspecting today I once again found no hair in our showers. The black you are speaking of at the bottom of the shower is under the caulk and cannot be cleaned. This is caused by continuous use during the season and requires a long drying period to be replaced. We do this once a year every November. The electric can opener is in the condo in the cabinet where we always keep it. I even tried it and it works fine. Yes people do burn coffee on the teflon heating pad of the coffee maker but this in no way touches your coffee as the area where the coffee goes and the carafe itself is always washed after each guest and that is how I found it today. Regarding dust on the furniture. With the air conditioner on and the fans running dust does come out of the air vents and settle on the furniture and with 4 days between the clean and your arrival dust will settle. There is no way to prevent this from happening. We would never leave anything in our condo to make people sick and have never had anything but very positive high reviews from our guests. If you had anything that you were unhappy with I would have driven straight to the condo and taken care of it but you have to call first and let me know you have a problem.
Great condo and lovely view; we travel to Gulf Shores every yr and this was a wonderful condo to stay in.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The location and view were wonderful. Our only frustration was the lack of floor coverings, which made for sandy, wet, slippery, sticky floors and the need to change and wash sheets more than once during the week. Rugs in the bathrooms and entry areas would help so much. Aside from that, we had a lovely stay. Thank you!
We are so glad you did enjoy your stay in our condo. The association does not allow any door mats in the entire building so we are totally unable to provide those. As far as rugs we feel that with all of the sand at the beach that everything remains cleaner with tile throughout. Carpet always looks and is dirty and impossible to keep clean at the beach. We do provide brooms, mops and vacuum cleaner in each of our condos however. The cleaning company also puts bath mats in each bathroom. I hope this better explains why there is a lack of carpet. Recent stay at Lighthouse
Our family enjoyed our time at The Lighthouse. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The pools and beach access were also very convenient.
