Great location for exploring
Spacious 2 bed villa with lovely infinity pool overlooking cliff top. Well equipped and ideal location for exploring the area with good tavernas in easy walking distance and a pretty pebble beach at Kaminaki again a short walk away if you have the stamina for the steep incline!
Signage for villa is small and easy to miss especially in the dark and driveway is very steep but once we got the hang of it we were fine.
When we arrived at Persephone, we immediately felt relaxed and happy, we breathed a deep sigh as we walked around the outside of the villa and a felt a huge smile on our faces as we came upon the pool and the spectacular views from it across the bay of Corfu - a real WOW moment. Immediately we knew we were going to have a wonderful time here, looking at those views every day. Being at the back of the villa, and away from the neighbours, we had privacy to sunbathe and play music at our leisure.
The inside of the villa provides everything we needed too to be comfortable. We appreciated the air-conditioning in our bedroom. The TV in the sitting room was a good size and provided some English speaking channels including BBC World News.
The kitchen was perfectly functional, with a large fridge / freezer, microwave and toaster. It was very nice to have the cleaner and the pool man regularly attend.
An added benefit is that the villa is within 15 easy walking minutes from 3 fine restaurants and a great cocktail bar/taverna. Perfect for drinking and not driving!
Overall the 9 days we spent here were wonderful. We highly recommend the villa to new guests and sincerely hope to return one day.

Excellent, very private. The only slight problem was that it was difficult to park on the designated parking area due to the slope and on a blind bend in the road.

We had a great holiday returning to Nissaki for second week of our holiday, back to favourite beaches, tavernas and friendly people.
Villa Persephone was fine and cosy inside, and lovely outside, pool with views being its major asset where we spent most of our time.
In a convenient location with car. Seemed possible but more limited for walking due to main road.
Persephone villa was an absolute joy to have a relaxing holiday in.
The photographs are true but the real life view is spectacular to the point we could not draw ourselves away from the villa some days!
The inside is cool and comfortable with air conditioning in the bedrooms with modern bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The outside had sun loungers, patio table and a dining table in the shade
The outside terrace is not overlooked and pretty quiet with minimal road noise. The sea view over towards Albania is worth a million dollars!!!
The area is only a small village, so not suitable for guests wanting a lot of bars and life.
The village starts half a mile away with a small convenience/ tourist shop and a bar over the road. Walk on further and there is a slightly larger shop, a bar and 2 tavernas with a third taverna around the corner. There are 2 coves locally with pebble beaches with 1 or 2 tavernas. There are reached by steep slopes/ steps ( not for the feint hearted ) but are both accessible by car.
There is a bus stop directly over the road from the villa with good coaches taking you north or into Corfu town at a great price.
The Tavernas in the village are very friendly and the food is wonderful.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday the villa is perfect!
