Definitely needs some work
We felt it was misleading to advertise lakeshore and "private dock" without revealing that one cannot even get to the lake without paying an additional, daily, per person fee. In addition, there were cobwebs in the blinds, burned out lightbulbs and worn carpets. The condo sleeps six yet there were three placemats, two cloth napkins and an assortment of dishes and glassware that looked as though they were gleaned from yard sales making it difficult to set a nice table. Some putty and a coat of paint would make a huge difference in the bathroom where holes in the walls and chipped paint give it a very worn feeling. Disappointing, and in addition we checked out on the 12th and our security deposit wasn't credited back until the 21st.
We are very sorry you were not happy with this condo. The owners have been made aware of your complaints and they are in the process of restocking the kitchen supplies that were missing. They have also paid to have the house deep cleaned to remove the dust and cobwebs.
I would not recommend this place .
This condo needs a major remodeling everything Is old , Spiderwebs everywhere we asked the rental office to call the pest control company to spray the house and we had to be out for three hours , beds were not comfortable ,sofas in the living room have stains on them and they are old
We had to wash all the sheets before using them ,the cleaning was not done right, the Tahoe Keys association charge $10 Per person per day to use the Beach and the pool I recommend Pope peach it’s close by and you only pay $10 per vehicle .
We were sorry to hear about the issues you had during your stay. The owners did pay to have a pest control company treat the house for spiders and bugs. They have also had both the carpets and upholstery professionally cleaned. The house is professionally cleaned after each departure and all sheets and towels are laundered.
December 2017 Stay
We didn’t know that we had to pay to use the hot tube or the beach. Very disapointing. The property also was dirty, with spider webs and a lot of dust.
We were sorry to hear about your complaints regarding the usage fees for the amenities and the cleaning. We advise all guests of these fees prior to arrival in the check in information packet we provide on the day you book the home. We also advise guests to contact our office if they have any issues or complaints when they arrive at the house. We inspected the condo prior to your arrival and did not find the issues you reported. We would have been happy to send over the cleaning company to do additional cleaning if it was needed.
June 2017 Stay
When we arrived the condo was short on cooking supplies, but within a day we were supplied with plenty of pots & pans & bowls as well as a new charcoal grill! A couple of maintenance issues were also addressed promptly. So we all enjoyed a couple of weeks there, especially the access to the pools, etc.

Winter Stay at Tahoe Keys Condo #209
Overall, place was as advertised and plenty of room for family of 4-6. Nice gas fireplace that actually warmed the room as well. Beautiful view of snow covered trees. Plenty of dishes and silverware, but needed skillets (requested to mgmt company). WiFi was excellent for the entire family. Just 15 minutes from Heavenly ski resort. Would like to come back in the summer and take advantage of the lake proximity and spacious outdoor decks and BBQ !
