Not well thought out
Exterminator there prior to us. Dead bugs inside and just outside of front door. Rugs had been sprayed because if you walked on them in bare feet, your feet would burn. We ended up vacuuming all rugs and washing all tile floors, as well as cleaning the oven. Mix up on trash pick up...wasn’t emptied the two weeks we were there.
In all we ended up leaving 5 days before our departure time. Very disappointed.
We enjoyed the lovely wooded setting and quietness of this beautiful home. Had a very restful stay, thank you!
Great location, very nice house
This house was perfect for our family. The porches are great and it is very private even though you are only minutes away from amenities. The kitchen is very well appointed with every type of gadget and cookware you might need. Everything (sheets, towels, dishes, glasses) is good quality. The only thing I'd mention is that without air conditioning you have to be strategic with the shades or else home can warm up in the afternoon (we visited in July). It was great to have use of a garage. We would definitely stay here again.

Not so clean
I would say our stay was okay except we payed for house keeping but when we arrived the floors and coffee tables were dirty also the main bathroom had poop in the bowl and urine on the seat I dont find this acceptable.
Very sorry. We had an upholstery cleaner at the cabin prior to arrival of guest. The cleaner was not monitored while in the cabin and apparently caused the cleanliness problem. In the future we will be sure to monitor anyone providing services and also check the cabin prior to guests arriving. This is an unfortunate occurrence that we just were not aware of. We will do everything possible to prevent something like this happening again in the future.
