Bright, airy, clean and perfect location; some minor maintenance issues
Bright, airy, clean and perfect location walk-able to lifts and plenty of stores, etc. Comfortable beds, nice very new Samsung smart TV and fireplace. The pool, hot tub and saunas were clean and well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook (except a flat spatula), grocery store is walking distance. No need for a rental car at all in Park City (most is walk-able, buses are free and Lyft/Uber is about a 4-5 min wait most of the time.) Great art on the walls and overall just tastefully decorated in a modern European style. Very easy to work with management for after hours check-in.
Some maintenance issues that the property manager needs to address including: hire an actual licensed electrician to address low voltage track lighting over kitchen counter that clearly has a bad transformer and was scary enough that we didn't use, several outlets that clearly haven't been professionally installed that we also didn't use. Virtually none of the wall switches in the living room area do anything... I'm sure they control very specific wall outlets, but none of the lamps were plugged in when we got there, and we gave up after 15 minutes of changing lamps to different outlets and then trying all the switches to no avail. Have electrician check that and then label wall switches and matching outlets. A few burned out light bulbs (why does every VRBO house I stay in have a ton of burned out lightbulbs?... All VRBO owners/mangers take a note: instant-on warm white LED bulbs last 50,000 hours... that's 11 years if you use it a full 12 hours a day!)
Dryer is missing it's lint screen which in the long run will be a fire hazard.
Even with the above fairly minor issues, we had a good stay, I'd rate it 4/5 and would be higher if maintenance issues were addressed. We'd stay again.
Thanks for staying with us!
Nicely remodeled condo close to park city lifts
An updated condo in an older building. We had a car and it was a 1 min drive to the free parking at resort. 3 mins to grocery store and shuttle right outside to Town. Pool and spa were heated for a nice after ski swim. Living room was small but nicely decorated for space. Only complaint is there was no plastic ware so be prepared with some dispisable cups!
Great Location but lots of traffic noise
Walking to the lifts is great! But property is older tho upgraded. Too much street noise; condo is closest to busy street. Set temp & 68; never got below 72. Beds are comfortable. No counter space in kitchen. Living area smaller than looks in photos.
Expensive for poor quality facilities
Good location for mountain access; Poor quality facilities; no garbage disposal, dishwasher doesn't clean, bathroom faucets hit the mirrors, cheap double hung window doesn't close letting in cold air and wind; requires walking down two flights of stairs then up two flights of stairs for access making luggage and ski gear hauling difficult; not ADA compliant; located on busy street with bus and car traffic that is loud and annoying; three security protocols (gate, physical key, door code) makes daily access a hassle; island lighting didn't operate; overall lighting poor; shower heads too low for anyone over 6 feet; Park City Lodging check in is inconvenient; thick foam mattress topper is uncomfortable; no ice maker in the refrigerator; in unit washer dryer is nice; excellent TV system; cleaning preparation questionable (floor debris and fingernail clippings found upon check in), nicely furnished and nicely decorated; walking to Park City Main Street too far for us; fireplace doors falling out of the wall but gas fireplace operated fine; overall just kinda "Meh" for the price.
