Dingy, beds need replacing, unrealistic laundry request
I can't believe places like this charge a cleaning service. It was dusty and dingy. When you try opening the blinds, at least one falls off. The beds are ancient and need replacing. We were asked to do the laundry which is utterly ridiculous. With four adults and three kids we effectively had to begin doing laundry at 8 am in order to leave by check out time. Also, there were no paper towels or back up/ extra toilet paper or tissues.
Thank you for your input to your stay as feedback keeps things in order and guests ultimately have a better stay! I have not had a complaint of dust in years so I before I contacted my cleaner, I looked at my schedule and noticed that she had cleaned a few days prior to your arrival which had to have increased the dust by the date of your arrival. My apologies for that! That is rare as usually she cleans the same day or one day prior. I do expect it to be pretty dust free. As far as your other concerns.... It is customary in the white mountains area that most owners supply plenty of linens (as I do ) but many rentals do not supply paper products such as paper towels or facial tissues. It is also standard to start off guests with a 2-4 rolls of toilet paper and after that, people purchase their own. I also would’ve been happy to tell you where I had more rolls in the unit if you had called. That would not have been a problem at all! I'm just a call away! :) It is also standard for condo or house rentals in this area to require the guests to wash the linens before departure. I do NOT charge guests cleaning fees in addition to the price of the stay (as most owners do) BUT if guests wish to hire the cleaner to launder the linens on their departure for a very nominal fee, they set that up ahead. (as stated in the rental agreement) I also mention in the agreement that for some it may be easier for them to bring their own linens so that they don’t have to take time do do it prior to departure. As far as the mattresses, I replace mattresses on a rotating basis and this is the first time that I have had a complaint on them. As far as the slats on the blinds, I have them checked frequently to see if any have come loose or fallen off so I am sorry that they were loose and fell. This style blinds are ones that the resort had required us to use for years but now we are allowed to switch to more efficient styles so I will be happily doing that very shortly! I appreciate your review and take note of anything I can do to make it better. I try to be VERY specific and detailed so that guests have all possible information they need ahead of time and I will continue so. I feel that it is very important to me that people really enjoy their getaway and part of that process is being prepared before they arrive with all the information necessary. I do hope that in the end, all guests and your pet enjoyed the property for your getaway as that is very important to me! :)
I stayed for alittle over a week with my family and we loved our stay! The place was perfect for us! Everything was clean and we had more then enough room! I will definitely be coming back!

We had a great time! close to North Conway center and Storyland. Was also a short ride to Santa’s Village. Also plenty of other close attractions to this location which makes it easy to get a lot of fun things done in the week we stayed!

Perfect family friendly vacation rental
Wonderful family friendly rental. Close to many good restaurants. Very quiet and clean. Visited with 3 adults, a 2yr old and infant. Everyone was very comfortable and happy.
