Sandcastle Pointe-Shoal Bay -5 étoiles

SandCastle Pointe is a beautiful home with a breathtaking view. We traveled with 4 couples in our party. The house was definitely large enough for all of us. The bedroom configuration is set up so every couple had their own space and privacy. Each bedroom has a view of the ocean, a balcony, AND its own outdoor shower. While the two upstairs master suites were slightly larger, the main floor suites did not disappoint.

The entertaining areas at SandCastle Pointe are a nice addition to the villa. We all enjoyed the pool table and bocce ball court. The bar has its own ice maker, which made packing our coolers for trips to the beach much easier.

We have stayed in several villas on Anguilla, and while all have been nice, the one thing that sets SandCastle Pointe apart is the hospitality service provided with your stay. Rita and her team take care of anything and everything you need. Not only do you rent an amazing villa you also receive a total concierge service, meal preparation, laundry service, housekeeping and personal shopping service. With all of this figured in, we feel SandCastle Point is a better value than anywhere else we have stayed on Anguilla. Rita and her team prepared several meals for our party and they were all wonderful. Rita also took care of all our transportation needs, such as rental cars and taxi services. You also will not need to waste a lot of your vacation running to grocery stores etc, simply give Rita the list of items you would like and she will have them waiting at the villa when you get home. If you want to take an excursion, Rita will set this up for you as well. She knew the island so well that she was always able to find us a better deal then we could have found on our own. One of my favorite services was the laundry service. Simply put your dirty clothes and swim suits in the clothes hamper and when you return from the beach Barbara has magically left them in your room clean and ready to go. That was such a time saver. Who wants to waste valuable vacation time doing laundry?

Delta Airlines cancelled our flight into SXM without notifying us until the morning of check in. Delta would rebook us thru San Juan with an overnight stay and a flight into Anguilla the following day. This would result in us losing an entire day of our trip. Rita drove to AXA and asked each airline representative if they offered charter flights from San Juan to Anguilla. She found one and literally saved our trip!
