Best place we've stayed in
I've been in two minds about leaving a review for this place, its so nice you'll want to keep it a secret. This was our second year in this apartment, the owner couldn't do more to help and the whole process for booking was super easy.
The apartment is right on the slopes, totally ski in and ski out with easy access ski lockers and boot storage. Its a large apartment and very comfortably, it fitted our family of 4 without tripping over each other or complaints and that's with 2 teenagers.It's well situated in the village so its easy access to the shops as well as the slopes. Due to its location in the complex its also just across an indoor walkway to the next door building's swimming pool so you can go for a swim every night without having to go outside. Swim shorts are fine.
Its stocked to a high level of furnishing and has little things like uk plug adaptors and decent wifi. Beds are super comfortable and large enough for a 6ft tall teen.
I judge all other apartments based on this one now and its a struggle to find one as nice.

Stayed in Les Arcs 1950 many times. This is a lovely spacious apartment, great location in the heart of this unique little village.
Best French apartment I’ve ever stayed in!
Having pretty much given up on renting French apartments after the tiny floor space on offer, this apartment restored my faith in rentals. It’s the sort of apartment I would have bought, furnished and equipped myself - a real home from home. There is so much storage space, particularly in the bathrooms, with lots of hooks for towels, robes etc, it’s a really warm apartment too, heated by the morning sun and very efficient radiators.
The reception area, steam room and sauna were excellent, along with more than adequate ski and boot storage. This apartment was a real joy to come home to after a wonderful day the slopes. Ski-in, ski-out convenience, and a great well-stocked supermarket to rustle up some evening meals in the well equipped kitchen. Well insulated and quiet with comfortable beds. Kay, the owner was very obliging and we enjoyed our stay immensely.
Beautiful and spacious apartment in the centre of the village with a perfect ski-in ski-out location
This apartment is located at the rear the first floor of one of the first blocks to be constructed in Arc 1950. The block appears to be managed by Pierre Et Vacances and the common parts and facilities are well maintained. The apartment is privately owned which is evident from the lovely quality well planned furnishings throughout. Overall the apartment is spacious compared to most of the purpose built alpine developments, having a large kitchen-dining-living area, two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and two bathrooms including an ensuite to the double. The apartment is comprehensively equipped and comes complete with flatscreen TV, blu-ray DVD player and it’s own WiFi which makes a real difference compared to the usual requirement to share an internet connection with other apartments in these sorts of developments.
Accessibility and convenience doesn’t get any better than this. The apartment is directly above Precision Ski which does a great ski hire service. The boot room is at mezzanine level to the rear of the building and there is plenty of room in the two secure lockers provided. This truly is a ski-out ski-in location with access to the boot room just a few metres from the ski route that runs through the centre of the village.
Those that know Arc 1950 will be aware that car parking is below the village and again we were able to park directly under Hammeau du Glacier, with lift access to just a few metres from the front door of the apartment, which made unloading and loading very easy. Being under cover meant the car stayed dry despite heavy snowfalls during the week.
Overall this apartment is a real find and a very comfortable stay for four people, although it does sleep six. A definite recommend both for the accommodation and the extremely accommodating and helpful owners.
