Lovely well appointed cottage ample for 6 adults
The kitchen was extremely warm as the aga had to be on all the time and although there was a manual a quick guide on how to use it would have helped. The weather was lovely but we couldn’t keep the windows and doors open as the cottage was full of bluebottles. It would have helped if there had been a brolly available to use for the outside table. It was inside a locked shed!!
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately we have to leave the Aga set to a temperature, as if turned off, it can take up to 24 hours to heat up.
Being in a rural location, there is a farm close by and therefore there are sometimes flies depending on what's going on in the neighbouring fields. Unfortunately we have no control over this.
The current contents of the shed are for private use, which is why it is locked, however, we are looking to get an umbrella for guests to use as well.
Sorry about the issues guests incurred, but we hope it didn't impact upon your stay too much.
Beautiful Cottage in the Cotswolds
The owners were very accommodating with timings and kindly let us stay after the checkout time as there was not another booking, which made a great impression. The lovely kitchen diner was a great room for cooking and chatting in and the large comfy sofas in the front room allowed everyone to have a nice seat infront of the fire.
Aga kept the house warm, and heating was on when we arrived. Richard kindly left some milk and bottle of wine which was enjoyed.
Great pub across the road with excellent food and garden.
Thanks for a great stay, will definitely come again. :)
