Would I recommend. DEFINITELY NOT

The on street parking wasn’t too bad, the walk to the North pier and shops took about 15 minutes. The cleanliness of our room was ok but the apartment left a lot to be desired. The small living room had the bed in it , a small table and two chairs and a small television, no wardrobe or cupboards to put your clothes in so they had to stay in the suitcase. The kitchen and bathroom were both ok although the shower above the bath did not work, there was also no wi fi. On our second night in the property we awoke to find the rain was coming in from above the window and onto the living room floor this is not a new thing because I have now seen this problem reported before. Not wishing to stay any longer we checked out. Empire apartment did say they would refund the remaining two days of our holiday if they received a cancellation from Vrbo. Vrbo said they could not give a cancellation because I had stayed in the apartment for two days, needless to say I hadn’t a hope in hell of getting any cash back. All in all I definitely would not recommend a stay in these apartments.

Convenient place to stay.

Unfortunately apartment was smaller than expected , had nowhere to put clothes, no bedside tables or drawers, no sofa & a small tv. Bath was nice full size, plenty of hot water. No wine glasses, just small plastic ones, & not enough cooking utensils. On the plus side it was clean & neat, not too bad to stay for a couple of days, with nice cafe over the rd.
