Sintra castles and hills!!
Lovely quite location. Very unique old building and lovely patio. A bit of a trek up the hill from the village center walking. It would be a easier location with a car. We found going up to san pedro for dinner was great and then walking down hill after the meal was much easier.
Beautiful property with a fairytale backdrop. Walking distance to every sight. Dress appropriately if traveling by foot as there are steep hills and lots of stairs. Sintra is a magical city rich in history and charm. Highly recommended!
This is an incredible place to stay! The outdoor space alone would’ve been enough but the place is cool! It is far better than the pictures can illustrate - it centrally located to all you want to see in Sintra and beyond. You have to know what you’re doing because it is hilly but we rented a moped and drove out of Centra U you have to know what you’re doing because it is hilly but we rented a moped and drove out of Sintra up north to Ericeira. The next day we drove south along the coast to Cascais. Saw a few touristy things but not all and we were cool with that. The house is big with comfy beds and dark shutters for sleep.Room with 2 double beds is on the left as you walk in and the others are down another hall. 2 full bathrooms- one with the best shower ever and the other with a tub. The outdoor space is big and private looking at a cool much older home that is empty. The house is 50 ft from a Catholic Church and a walk wY to city center. We stayed 4 nights and loved every minute.
