A great time at the cottage

Have been meaning to write and let you know what a great time we had at the cottage, we were lucky with great weather as well. Only problem we had was that the electrics for the washer and dryer tripped and the outhouse was locked, contacted your house keeper and she came over and we sorted it before the rest of the family were up for breakfast.

Kullabygden is really beautiful

We had a lovely time in the cottage. Kullabygden is really beautiful and I hadn't been there since I was a child so it was nice to come back. We really enjoyed the house especially the well equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom. We all felt that a update of the garden furniture would enable your guests to enjoy the lovely garden more (just a constructive input:-))

Very happy at the cottage

We really enjoyed our time in Sweden and were very happy at the cottage, which is really lovely. Highlights were swimming from the rocks at Arild where the sea is so clear, and a walk to Nimmis followed by catch of the day for supper at a quayside cafe in Molle.

a crisp bread for every occasion

We had a short family break at Nygårdavägen 187 in September. 4 adults and 4 children. It really was one of those holidays that was memorable for all the right reasons. The local area is amazing, it has an air of calm and tranquillity, with the clear Swedish sky light, fabulous. It is amazing, the surrounding area is full of great places and things to do ( not amusement parks or bingo, more crabbing, swimming, walking, good contemporary art etc )
There are cycle paths close to the house so we rode everywhere, to the shops, to the beaches. The shops are wonderful, great food, variety, and a crisp bread for every occasion imaginable. Cafes are plentiful, and portions are generous, a like of fish and sea food is helpful, but not essential. However, a tuna mayonnaise roll is not the same as it is in the UK. Non of that nasty tinned tuna this is the real deal and mighty good it was too!
The property is close to a road, however, this is the land that gives us the mighty Volvo, where safety and sensibility is the national dish, occasionally a car trundles past. Spotty youth, hot hatch, drum and bass are not to been seen, thank the lord!!
The house is a wonderful place to stay, clean and tidy. It is a real holiday home, it feels warm and friendly and has a feeling of calm and holiday laziness. The owners were immensely helpful with travel advice and enjoyable things and places for both younger and older members to visit and do.

Good for swimming and sight seeing.

We had a wonderful time at this house. It's well placed for swimming in the coves and rocky beaches of the south east coast and also within a short car ride of Lund, a charming town with a great museum of local life and an impressive cathedral. Good shops, too.
The house itself was clean, very comfortable and very Swedish - lots of blue and white. A spacious garden with plenty of space for kids to run about in, and open countryside to the rear of the house.

Perfect retreat for relaxing holiday

Fantastically comfortable, cosy and full of character. Provided the perfect wind down after cycling around Southern Sweden for a week. Great cycling opportunities in surrounding area and great opportunities for swimming. The Kullaberg peninsula and the Nimis construction were unexpected discoveries. Ending each day with a drink in the garden in beautiful evening sunshine made for a really relaxing few days.

Great for cycling!

This was my second visit to this wonderful cottage. It is truly charming with a mix of old architecture and modern conveniences. There are a number of good cycling routes near the house. I especially enjoyed visiting the ultra cool art installation known as Ladonia at the coast.

Fabulous adventure. I had never been to Sweden before and was heartened to find how friendly everyone was. We arrived from the UK and found everything as the information had told us it would be. its a beautiful house which has views from all directions . The bedrooms have window seats so you can spend time reflecting here. The in house balcony at the top looking down on the kitchen area means that you can have conversations from the top of the house to the kitchen if you want . It is a very comfortable friendly house to stay in and really easy to get around from. We walked in the nearby forests and saw the impressive stair artwork by the sea . There was an art gallery in the neighbouring town which was showing some great photography. A great experience

Just a quick note to say thank you for a wonderful holiday in our cottage in Sweden. The house was beautiful, just what we had hoped for and really comfortable. We had many enjoyable evenings watching the sunset over the fields. Just as you said the sea swimming was amazing! - lovely warm water and brilliant for our kids. It was great to be able to use the bikes to explore the area.
