Magnifique maison chargée d'histoire: exposée comme exemple d'architecture américaine pendant l'Exposition Universelle de 1900 à Paris. Reconstruite à Deauville avec 6 chambres et un grand salon. Entièrement redécorée et équipée de toutes les commodités modernes. Très claire, avec de grandes baies vitrées face à la mer. Jardin bien entretenu et garage pour 2 voitures, table de ping-pong et jeux. Très grande terrasse pour prendre un verre ou diner. A 2 min de la plage et proche à pied du centre commercial et du centre de Deauville. Disponible en août, en haute saison, mois pendant lequel se tient 1 des plus grande courses internationales de chevaux. Vous pourrez également assister au Festival du Film Américain, début septembre. Nombreux sports : tennis, golf (5 parcours), voile, kart, équitation etc… La campagne est magnifique et les longues plages très bien entretenues. Les sites historiques proches sont les plages du débarquement, le charmant port d’Honfleur et les nombreux châteaux.

Beautiful Home for 10 Persons

We stayed in this lovely home with our family of 8 adults and 2 children. It was in a perfect location; close to the beach, grocery, restaurants, downtown and even the race track. We did not have a car and were able to get around on the bicycles or by foot. The yard is all enclosed and perfect for the children to play without worry of the street. It was also very quiet, even during August when the beach is quite busy. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a home away from home vacation. We were able to cook many meals at the house as the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, etc. The owner was very helpful in making our plans to visit the area. We would stay at this home again if ever we get back in the area.

Beautiful House, Perfect Location!

I have just returned from a wonderful 10 day stay at this beautiful house - Perfect location, near the beach, supermarket and town. My family 7 adults and 2 children had a fantastic time in Deauville. This house is just like being 'home from home' with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. The facilities were excellent. We had a fun time going out on the bikes and even playing table tennis when the weather was not too good! The owner was very helpful even emailing us during our stay to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.
I would totally recommend this house and hope to return someday.

We spent one week during the christmas holiday season. This property offers excellent value for the rentalprice. Instantly we felt at home. All comfort available, excellent quiet neighbourhood and close to (10 min) deauville centre. Very friendly handling by owner and cleaningservice. Our dogs were welcome, so they could enjoy as well.

Perfect house and location

We stayed a week with our two girls (10 and 15) and everybody enjoyed the house, the location and the big terrace. The house is ideal for the beach, biking and running. It has a vey cosy atmosphere and a good layout. It is very well equipped and the shops and restaurants are close by. The town of Deauville is very stylish, but at the same time very relaxed and welcoming. We can warmly recommend the house and the town.

Perfect Beach House

This house is in an ideal location. Steps from the beach and a short walk into the town centre. It has good entertaining space, is very clean and well equipped. The owner is extremely "user friendly" and helpful. It has a secure garden where my dogs could play when they weren't charging into the waves on the beach.

As a family we have stayed in the Normandy Hotel in Deauville many times. We wanted a rent a special family home for 2 weeks in Deauville. Fortunately we found this magnificant home by the sea. A 100yd walk to the beach, 5 mins to supermarket with an exellent fish counter and a 20 m in walk into Deauville. No need to drive anywhere. Golf courses excellent.
Full endorsement for a lovely relaxed holiday.
My favourite Brunch is at the Normandy Hotel on Sundays, don't miss it.
Cambridge to Deauville, via tunnel, 5 to 6 hrs.

Highly enjoyable holiday

Spent a very enjoyable few days staying here with family. Suitable for mix of ages and mix of interests - from grandparents to little ones. Close to clean sandy beach and a short drive to the centre of Deauville with all its amenities. Supermarket and pharmacy just a few minutes walk away so ideal for self-catering. The property was clean, well maintained and well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing break - lots of fresh, clean towels and bedlinen, well stocked kitchen with plenty of cutlery and crockery etc. The owner was helpful as was his cleaner/housekeeper. Recommended.

We had a wonderful week in Normandy and the farmhouse helped very much to make it so. It is located in the most beautiful spot, surrounded by nothing but the cows.
The Owner was really good to deal with and answered all our queries very quickly. He welcomes visitor feedback and has said that he will action the small points that we did mention to him, none of which diminished our enjoyment.
There is a bedroom on the ground floor, which will be good news to anyone with a disability, We would definitely return one day.

Lovely house!!

March 2011: we stayed a week in the house with our two boys(11 and 14) and our dog. We were welcomed by the very friendly house keeper. The house is only a 3 minutes walk from the beautiful large beach. Right at the beach you have 2-3 restaurants were you can have a drink or eat. You can run on the beach or on the boulevard. There is a tennis court 3 min from the house. The house is very light and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and the supermarket is 5 min by car. There is a nice televison room and in the entire house you have WIFI. You can park the car in the gated garden. Deauville is very classy (for Belgians/Dutch: like Knokke), with shops like Hermes, Cartier, Todds, and many good restaurants and a fabulous Thalasso centre. The Fish market in Trouville is great. We went there several times on our bikes (in garage of house). Honfleur is also worth a visit. And the memorials of the Battle of Normandy (Pegasus bridge, Omaha beach, etc) are only an hour drive. We highly recommend the house and the surroundings.
