Warm welcome, restful and inspirational stay

We loved our stay in La Luna! The whole property is a little oasis in the midst of beautiful surroundings. We experienced such a warm welcome by the owners Val & John and enjoyed their continuous support and availability. They are well connected to the local community and are a wealth of information. The cottages are cosy, rustic and well equipped. Even though they are close to each other, we didn't feel at all on top of each other. The grounds had a lot of different seating areas, both in sunshine and in shade. The views of the rising and setting sun on the mountains and valley are stunning. Lots of walks to do from the cottage. And only a short drive into town.

Beautiful Location

Without a doubt this has been the most beautiful location we have stayed in in all the years we've been renting little houses for our August hols. The valley with all the pretty farms, cortijos and the lovely fields is simply delightful, a slice of real Spanish life - Gorgeous ! We loved the villages up higher in the mountains with all the wonderful vistas of the peaks.
Val and John have been the most welcoming hosts and given us lots of advice for life in Spain when we get to spend our retirement here in Granada in two years time. All in all a fabulous week, we'll definitely be back, perhaps in spring next time for a contrast in seasons, it would be lovely to see all the wild flowers etc.

Dear Val and John. Wow ! what a fabulous holiday --- a truly beautiful part of the world with wonderfully generous hosts. It's been an absolute pleasure and thank you so much for sharing your home with us . We shall go back to New Zealand fully refreshed. The pool was perfect as was La Luna. Your helpful advice as to places to visit was invaluable.

Thankyou for introducing us to Chris Stewart's books, they were great. Also giving us tips on where to go, like the three villages and the Flamenco in the Sacromonte caves.

You have been completely fabulous ! You've made us feel so welcome and comfortable here in your little paradise.
