I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed staying at the villa and Corralejo in general.

The villa is a wonderful place, well appointed and equipped, and we loved the heated pool.

The newly installed wifi is an excellent feature. We had it for a week and it worked well. We had Radio 2 streaming quietly on the I Pad by the pool! This is really useful in terms families with teenage children etc who need their dose of facebook etc to keep themselves occupied!

The main town of Corralejo is 4-5 km away and isn't really walkable. We're both runners, but it's not really an evening time walk, so you'll either need a car, or to make use of the buses (E1.30 each way) or get a taxi back at night (E8 approx after midnight).

You'll will need to go into town I suspect as there isn't reallly much on the Tamaragua development of villas, a supermarket and 2 bars and that's it, but no bank etc.

Chris and Susan, who look after the villa were wonderful and my thanks to them as well.

We will return there sometime in the future.

Myself and my husband were really looking forward to getting some winter sunshine and relaxing in a private villa with it's own pool in hopefully a quiet neighbourhood and this villa fulfilled our hopes. We arrived in the dark and Chris and Susan, the Management Team made us very welcome. First impressions were favourable but in daylight we realised we had booked a real gem. Beautifully maintained with all facilities needed for a long or short stay. The weather was brilliant which really helped. The villa is about 3K outside Corralejo so a car is recommended. The island is small and the roads are all very good and well signposted. We went to the south of the island in a few hours and really enjoyed just dipping in and out of all the wee coastal villages along the way. Corralejo itself is beautiful with lots of places to eat. Boat trips are also available. The only drawback, and this is end same in any holiday resort, is once you venture into a shop for a browse, you're almost pounced on to try and buy goods. But as I say I have encountered this on every holiday I've had.

I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone interested. I cannot fault the owner for the way he kept in touch with me and answered promptly my many questions (where will the sun be in the garden) that kind of thing. The property is exactly as described and I cannot praise enough Chris and Susan. They made us very aware that if we had any problems they were available any time. They made sure he temperature of the pool was ok for us and were just lovely people. The villa was spotlessly clean and ticked all our boxes.

We stayed for a week in Villa Azahar the first week of the summer holidays we had a 12 year old and a 5 year old with us, It is a lovely spacious villa with many home comforts and spotlessly clean throughout.The pool was a nice size for 4 of us and was lovely and warm, there is also a great garden area with sun loungers and chairs aswell as a sheltered patio area to escape the afternoon sunshine.It is in a very quiet area on the outskirts of Corralejo and I would advise a car as its too far to walk anywhere especially with children, we didn't hire a car and found the buses very cheap at about 1.15 euro per person each way and they were very reliable and frequent.
All in all a very relaxing holiday in a lovely comfortable , clean and well loved Villa. The owners were also very friendly and helpful with any queries and emailed back very quickly and the couple that look after the property out there were also very helpful and friendly .

Villa Azahar was a beautiful well maintained villa. We have been back for 3 weeks now and we are constantly talking about our time there and wanting to go back. On arrival we had a welcome pack waiting for us which was very helpful and contained maps and information about the island, local attractions and menus for local resturants. The villa was very spacious, very clean and very comfortable. It was lovely to see the pool when we arrived, the pool is the perfect size and came with a large patio area more than enough room for sunbathing, eating and relaxing, the living area was really comfortable and spacious and made us feel at home, the kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms were very spacious. We had a car for the week which we would recommend. Corralejo is 5 minz away by car aswell as the sand dunes and beach. The local cocktail bar is called Casper's and we highly recommend this as they made us feel very welcome and gave us a cd when we where leaving, they also make the best mojitos in town!!! there is absoloutely no way we can fault the villa as we fell in love with it and the island. We can't wait to book another holiday to the island as a week just wasn't enough for us and would definitely go back to villa azahar, we would like to say thank you very much the villa is beautiful and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time, see you again soon.
